Rhys sent through a stack of drawings, it was a challenge to choose one. I don’t normally dwell in the realm of the skull and Rhys concurred that it was a very played out motif, however - it felt right. Hole in the HEAD porthole to the MIND.

I wanted to share some words to help frame this project, like some backstory of value that helps to shine the light on what this is, where it comes from, why I make it and what it all means to me. I had heaps of false starts with trying to key that out and in the eleventh hour, whilst speaking on the phone with my good friend, Brendan Huntley, decided that having a lucid chat with him would be an honest pathway to finding those words.
