We had a fun homecoming season this year! We love our kids and their friends! Bear had a sweet date, my friend hosted the dinner, and we hosted the after party! What a treat to get to know all these amazing young people! Thankful for our community of parents that make this so special!!! by @mindilinscombe

An amazing and inspiring retreat with @bridalownersuccess ! We spent 2 days with other bridal shops across the nation to collaborate, learn, and grow our businesses. All to serve our Brides and customers the best we possibly can! 🤍🤍🤍🤍

Our life long friends, David and Christine King, had their eldest daughter’s wedding on Saturday and it was just magnificent!

We love you Taylor & Everett! You’re an incredible couple and we are so blessed to have witnessed such an incredible God-story!

She took my breath away as she rode down the aisle on her horse! So beautiful!

My gorgeous friend Christine and her son Landon walking her down the aisle! A stunning MOB for sure!

The aspen grove on their family property was a heavenly experience on this beautiful fall day!

There are some events that fill your calendar… and others that fill your soul. 🤍

Our time together on 30A was definitely the latter.

We came together to connect, reflect, recharge, laugh, share, and simply have the space to BE. And somewhere in the middle of all of it, new friendships were formed, old friendships grew deeper, and I was reminded once again how powerful it is when women of depth, integrity, kindness, and purpose come together.

One of the sweetest surprises for me was realizing just how many of the women in the room were Gordon Publishing authors! 📚🤍 That wasn’t intentional—and you certainly don’t have to be a Gordon Publishing author to join us—but it made my heart so happy to see so many women whose stories and voices we have the privilege of helping bring into the world.

There was something really special about this group. No pretense. No pressure. Just incredible women showing up as themselves, encouraging one another, learning from one another, and enjoying life together in one of the most beautiful places.

I’m so grateful to my co-host @mindilinscombe for helping make our time together so memorable, and to every woman who said YES and showed up with an open heart. You each brought something unique to the weekend.

I came home full—full of gratitude, new friendships, beautiful memories, and even more convinced that women need spaces like this.

And yes… we’re already dreaming about next year. ✨

I’m so happy I booked the trip!!!

Spending a week at the beach with other like minded Christian professional women is truly like no other. I’m so thankful for @kathryngordon and her friendship that made this amazing weekend possible!

This is your sign to make the time, make the trip happen. We need friendship as business owners and professional women! It makes us better people, moms, wives, business owners, friends and employers!

Retreat #1 of this month has begun!!! We have been in seaside for 1 day and already I feel encouraged and excited to be with these special women.

The pre-school FT calls when I’m traveling for work are the most importsnt calls to me 🧡 the working moms KNOW.

It’s almost retreat season!!!

We are heading out soon to host 70 bridal shop owners at the beach over the next two months and we can’t be more excited for it!

If I’m honest, this is my favorite part of being a profitable bridal shop owner. It’s afforded me time and energy to pour into what I’m most passionate about (coaching and supporting other bridal shop owners) AND stay connected to my family in the process.

🧡 its afforded me the best general manager and team at @somethingnewboutique so I never have to worry about my store when I’m gone
🧡 It’s afforded me the ability to make values centered decisions with my time instead of constantly scurrying to keep things together and make ends meet.
🧡 It’s afforded me the ability to work ON my business because I’m not stuck in the day to day OF my business
🧡 It’s afforded me presence and peace of mind so I can be more present with the people around me

Remember, being profitable in business isn’t just about the money - it’s about the life freedom the profit can afford you.

Dear entrepreneur parent……I know school is starting and with that comes a massive wave of new to-dos.

Kids need to be driven to school
Meetings need to be scheduled
Goals need to be hit
Games need to be attended
Back to school nights every week
Homework routines return
Websites need to be worked on
Date nights need to be gone on
Employees need to be on-boarded

The list is endless.

But I want to remind you - this is all unto something. This is building something (both around and inside of you).

Discipline and faithfulness looks like showing up every day to the small things.

Because these are actually the big things.
