THIS IS WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT. 💙

Festivities, friends, family - and that feeling at the finish line that fills the heart.

Adventure racing may be about maps, checkpoints, bikes, paddles and kilometres, but days like today remind us that it’s really about people.

Showing up together. Challenging ourselves. Cheering each other on. Celebrating what we accomplished - whether that means racing for the podium, crossing your very first finish line, or simply having one incredible day outside with people you love.

And what a beautiful place to do it.

This is community. This is adventure. And this is why we love this sport. 🧭🏔️

Adventure. Together. 💙

THIS IS ADVENTURE RACING. 🧭💙

Maps out. Heads up. Feet moving.

Hundreds of racers are out on the MOMAR – Mind Over Mountain Adventure Race course today, navigating their way through the incredible Comox Valley by foot, bike and paddle.

There’s strategy. There’s suffering. There’s probably a wrong turn or two. 😂 And somewhere in all of it is that feeling that keeps this community coming back year after year.

Beautiful places. Great people. One seriously good day outside.

Proud to have Subaru along for the adventure and supporting the continued growth of this incredible sport across Western Canada.

More from the course to come. 🏔️

Adventure. Together. 💙

RACE MORNING AT MOMAR 🧭💙

This is what adventure racing looks like on a Saturday morning.

Hundreds of racers. Hundreds of kayaks. Maps spread out wherever teams can find a little space. Last-minute route decisions, gear checks, nervous energy, plenty of laughs — and a beautiful Comox Valley morning waiting for them.

MOMAR – Mind Over Mountain Adventure Race is underway!

This event has been bringing the adventure racing community together for years, and standing here this morning, it’s easy to understand why. From seasoned racers chasing the podium to people simply here to challenge themselves and spend a day outside with their teammates — everyone gets their own adventure.

And they’re off to a pretty spectacular start. 🛶

Meanwhile, over in Manitoba, Swamp Donkey racers are getting ready for their own adventure today.

Two long-standing races. Two very different Canadian landscapes. Hundreds of racers.

One incredible adventure racing community.

We’ll be sharing stories from both courses throughout the day.

Good luck racers — go find some checkpoints! 🧭

Adventure. Together. 💙
