Sometimes burnout doesn’t look like quitting.
Sometimes it looks like showing up while feeling completely empty.
If you’re constantly exhausted, disconnected or overwhelmed, don’t automatically label yourself as lazy or unmotivated.
Your mind needs care too.
🧠 Save this for your next mental check-in.

We spend so much time asking athletes how they performed.
Maybe we should start asking how they’re doing.

šŸ’¬ Let’s talk: ā€œDo you think athletes are encouraged to speak up about mental health, or are they expected to push through everything?ā€

I want to see you all in the commentsšŸ‘€ by @mindyourgameseries

🧠 Meet the Founder & CEO | Bianca Pendleton

There’s a story behind every vision.
I’m Bianca Pendleton, Founder & CEO of Mind Your Gameā„¢ 🧠
As a former Division II women’s basketball student-athlete and captain, current graduate women’s basketball coach, and M.A. Clinical Mental Health Counseling student, I’ve experienced athletics from multiple perspectives—and one thing has always stood out:
We talk so much about the athlete’s performance that we sometimes forget the person behind it.
The pressure to perform.
The fear of failure.
Identity beyond sports.
Confidence.
Burnout.
Academics.
Relationships.
Mental health.

And figuring out who you are when the game isn’t being played.
That’s why I created Mind Your Gameā„¢.
My vision is to create a space where athletes can have honest conversations, feel supported, become empowered, and understand that taking care of their mental health is just as important as taking care of their physical performance.
As I continue my education, pursue my Ph.D., and work toward becoming a sport psychologist, I’m committed to bridging athletics + mental health through education, advocacy, research, and meaningful conversations.

This is bigger than a platform.

It’s a movement to protect the human under the jersey. šŸ§ šŸ€
And this is only the beginning.
