EVERY DANCER STARTS SOMEWHERE. 🩰🩷 Maybe this is where your little one’s journey begins. It starts with the tiny tutu. The little ballet shoes. The first class. The first “5, 6, 7, 8!” And soon, dance becomes more than just a class… It becomes their teacher. Their friends. Their confidence. Their happy place. Every week, they grow, not because they always get it right, but because they keep trying. They learn to believe in themselves, make friendships, be part of a team, and discover just how much they’re capable of. And it all has to start somewhere. We are just TWO WEEKS away from the start of our 2026–2027 dance season! 🎉 If you’ve been thinking about getting your little one involved in dance, maybe this is where their journey begins. Start them young. Start their confidence. Start their love of dance. Don’t wait, we’d love to welcome your little dancer into the MDA family! https://app.thestudiodirector.com/mindysdanceattack1/portal.sd by @mindysdanceattack

MEET MINDY ACUNA — Owner/Director of MDA!!!🩷🧑‍🩰🩰 Mindy Acuna began her dance training at the age of three, and from the very beginning, dance became a passion that would shape her life. Throughout her dance years, Mindy has trained extensively in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Pom, Cheer, and Tumbling. She has performed lead roles in productions including The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, and Coppélia. Mindy began teaching in 2004 as an assistant, and in 2012, she turned her passion into her own studio, founding Mindy’s Dance Attack in Sneads Ferry, North Carolina. Mindy gained her certificate with Carolina Dance Masters and Dance Masters of America. In addition to directing and teaching at her studio, she serves as a judge for multiple regional and national dance competitions, giving her a unique perspective on both the training and performance aspects of dance. Her students have earned numerous titles, scholarships, and overall awards at regional and national competitions. She’s had students grow to dance in college and teach at studios. While she is incredibly proud of their accomplishments, Mindy believes the greatest measure of success is the growth, confidence, character, and love of dance her students develop along the way. After more than two decades of teaching, Mindy’s greatest joy remains watching her students excel, grow, and become confident young people. She believes every child who walks through the studio doors should feel seen, valued, encouraged, and loved. She strives to create an environment where dancers feel comfortable being themselves, while also challenging them to discover just how much they are capable of achieving. Outside of the studio, Mindy is a proud wife and mom of three to her two bonus boys and her little girl. She is also a dog mom and loves spending time with her family, enjoying the beach, soaking up the sunshine, and, of course, an iced coffee in hand! Her philosophy is simple, work hard, dream big, be kind, and never stop believing in yourself. 🩷🖤 by @mindysdanceattack

MEET THE STAFF: MISS BRIANNA!!! If you’re new to MDA, we’d love for you to meet one of our amazing teachers! And if you’ve been with us, you already know just how special Miss Brianna is! 🩷🤸 Brianna is returning to our MDA faculty for another year as a Dance & Tumble Instructor, bringing her passion, expertise, and love for teaching to our dancers! Brianna has extensive experience in jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, ballet, pointe, acro, and tumbling, along with years of All Star Cheer experience. She even competed at The Summit.🏆 And a fun MDA fact… Brianna was once an MDA dancer herself! She grew up dancing right here at MDA, shining in both group dances and solos, and we absolutely love having her come full circle and now share her knowledge with the next generation of dancers! 🥹🩷 Since joining our faculty, Brianna has already made such an incredible impact on our students. Her knowledge and expertise have helped her dancers master new skills, build confidence, and reach goals they once thought were out of reach. Beyond the studio, Brianna is a proud mama to her adorable 2½-year-old daughter, and she loves spending time with her family at the beach, soaking up the sunshine and making sweet memories. ☀️🏖️ We are SO lucky to have Bria back at MDA and can’t wait to see all of the growth, confidence, and accomplishments she helps our dancers achieve this year!
