The more time you spend detecting, the more you notice the small things. You start paying closer attention to how a target responds and thinking twice about signals you might have ignored when you first started.
The X-TERRA ELITE gives detectorists room to keep developing those skills and take what they've learned onto new ground.
What improved your detecting more: better research or more time behind the detector?

A "quick hunt" has a habit of turning into a few hours and a lot more ground covered than planned.
That's part of what makes detecting such a good way to spend a day outside. You're walking, searching, digging and usually convincing yourself there's time for one last target.
For World Heart Day, we're giving a nod to the part of detecting that keeps us outdoors and moving.

We know there are some seriously good finds sitting in this community, but the story behind the find is usually just as interesting.

We want to hear about the target that made the whole hunt worth it. Tell us what you uncovered, what happened when you found it and which Minelab detector picked it up.

Share yours with #MinelabFinds to be featured.

Which find has the best story behind it?

Every detectorist eventually develops their own way of hunting.

Some want fresh ground every time they head out, while others will keep working the same site because they know there's still something hiding there.

There's no single way to approach a hunt, and that's exactly what we want to settle.

Which detecting style sounds most like you? If we missed yours, tell us what it is.
