This is the second suspender clip I've found from this company!

These clips were made by the C.A. Edgarton Manufacturing Company in Shirley, Massachusetts, which became known for its Shirley President suspenders in the late 1800s.

This particular clip dates back to 1892, and the company became so successful with its President line that it eventually changed its name to the "President Suspender Company" around 1900.

🚨 Bucket lister alert! 🔥

3rd times the charm. Headed back to the early 1900s yard and got a loud low 90s on the manticore. I joked to myself it would be nice to find a half. Flipped the plug and saw the silver edge!

A silver half indeed! And one I’ve never found! A Benjamin Franklin silver half dollar, minted from 1948 to 1963. My 3rd half dollar ever. This hobby never stops to wow and amaze me!

One hunt…Just 3 hours and 18 minutes. One amazing day swinging the Minelab Manticore! Days like this are what we all dream of - it was surreal!

Here’s the final tally:

1. 15 total silvers (14 silver coins, 1 silver ring)
2. Highlight silvers include 6 total barbers and a 1917 “S” Type 1 SLQ!
3. Finding four silver quarters in one hunt is always a rush…
4. 60 total wheat cents to just 11 memorial cents… all memorial cents were 1959 to 1967…
5. One Indian head cent
6. French 10 Centimes large copper coin!!

Hunt Duration: [10:45 AM - 2:03 PM]

Possible top 5 all-time for me based on numbers of silvers, quality of silvers and short hunt duration!

Minnesota trip:

Per usual I didn’t get too many photos, which I kick myself for after.

@donovanfindsthings and myself flew into Minneapolis for a @minelabusa photoshoot.
It was gorgeous, but pretty darn cold the whole shoot. It started raining around 8am and didn’t let up until about 7pm when we were finishing up.

The last scene we were filming I looked over at Donovan and the poor guy was shivering. Luckily, one of the photographers wife had been there and she let me use her coat otherwise I would have been shivering, too.

While in Minneapolis I checked out the Mall of America. It was quite literally just a big mall, but the LEGO store was pretty darn cool. There were LEGO statues 20’ tall.

Anywho, it was a super quick trip; I left in Wednesday, we filmed Thursday and then I flew out Friday.
