SUNDAY. October 4th, 2-5pm. We are thrilled to announce a collaborative workshop with the very talented @suzannebioret . She will be introducing the unique and ancestral technique, Mopa-Mopa, to San Francisco. Recently, her work has been featured at @consulcolsfo in San Francisco

We will be providing all materials and look forward to hosting the artist for a special, one-time only workshop during a visit to our city. We only have 8 spots open so please reach out through DM as soon as possible to ensure your spot!

In addition to the workshop we will have our doors open to the public from 2-7pm to see our newest exhibition “Black Mettle”, a solo exhibition from @josedigregorioart, curated by our very own @grigalu.

Also a reminder that we will have the opening reception of the exhibition on SATURDAY, October 3rd, from 6-9pm. During the event, we will have music from @thrashleylife to coincide with the work. We look forward to opening our doors back up to the public :)

A trio exhibition featuring studio artists from @minimartsf earlier this year @maggalleries. This was a wonderful exhibition that we all very much enjoyed being a part of. We are forever grateful to the wonderful folks who run the @castroartwalk. Mini Mart will be having some fun things happening this fall so stay tuned :)

TONIGHT! 6:30PM. Join us for a special performance from @nichampton. She will be doing a special acoustic set during the @sffirstthursday first ever “collectors night”. While you are here you can see our current exhibition - “Manager’s Special” featuring 45 artists in a very interactive installation. A bunch of galleries in the neighborhood will be open to coincide with the event so call it a mini mart walk. We hope to see you there :) by @minimartsf

Earlier this month my father passed away. I don’t think anyone was expecting it, and I didn’t really have space set aside in my schedule to accommodate grieving or the shift that’s occurred in my world. ‘Manifesting Questions’ is a collection of paintings and poetry which gave me the space to ask,

“Do you want to wonder how things should have been, or create the space with that energy now?
Do you want to paint and write in the space between joy and grief?
Do you want to ask questions where manifesting is the modifier or where manifesting is the action?”

‘Manifesting Questions’ opens at @minimartsf Minimart 720 Geary this Thursday October 2nd from 6-9 pm. Check out @sffirstthursday for other art events during the evening.
