Talent is everywhere. Opportunity is not. 🏀

At BTG Academy, we believe young players should be judged by their talent, commitment and willingness to work not by the financial circumstances they were born into.

As we enter Year 2, our goal is to create even more opportunities for young athletes to train, develop, compete, travel and experience basketball at a higher level.

We also want to make the Academy more accessible to players from families with limited financial resources, as well as young athletes from underserved communities, including players from Africa who may otherwise never get this kind of opportunity.

Your support helps us provide coaching, player development, facilities, tournaments, international competition, travel, equipment and opportunities for players who need financial support.

Every contribution matters.

If you can donate, thank you.
If you can’t, sharing this post can still make a real difference.

Swipe through to learn more, and scan the QR code on the final slide to support our GoFundMe.

Help us bridge the gap between talent and opportunity. 💙🏀 taken in Molfetta, Italy by @minospaccavento

A CHANCE FOR THE DISADVANTAGED 🏀
DIAMO UNA POSSIBILITA AI PIÙ DEBOLI🏀

Hi! We’ve just launched the official GoFundMe for Bridge the Gap Academy.

Our mission is simple: to give more young players access to opportunities they may otherwise never have.

We’re raising €50,000 to help reduce the financial barriers around high-level basketball development, coaching, training, travel, accommodation, equipment and international experiences.

A key part of this mission is also to create opportunities for young athletes from financially disadvantaged families, refugee backgrounds and underserved communities, including players from African countries where access to this kind of development can be extremely limited.

Every contribution matters, no matter the amount.
€10 helps. €25 helps. €50 helps. It all adds up.

And if you’re not in a position to donate, sharing the link can be just as valuable. One share can reach someone who may be able to open a door for one of these young athletes.

If you believe talent deserves an opportunity regardless of where someone comes from or what their family can afford, we’d be incredibly grateful for your support.

🏀❤️ Help us bridge the gap between talent and opportunity.

WHY BTG ACADEMY? 🌍🏀

Talent is only part of the equation.

The other part is being seen.

Many players spend years developing in their home country and only start looking abroad after high school. By then, they’re competing for college scholarships and professional contracts against players who have already been part of those markets for years.

At Bridge The Gap Academy, we believe in creating opportunities before that moment arrives.

Through EYBL, international competition, and our extensive network across Italy and beyond, our players don’t just gain experience.

They become visible.

They build relationships.

They enter the basketball ecosystem early.

Nothing is guaranteed in basketball.

But putting yourself in the right environment significantly increases the chances that the right opportunity finds you.

That’s what Bridge The Gap means.

We don’t just develop players.

We connect them to a global basketball network and help bridge the gap between potential and opportunity.

🏀 Applications for the upcoming season are now open.

Ho seguito e visto tutto...tutti.
Tanti amici, ovunque. Un paio davvero SUPER❤️
Ma TUTTO il resto... Davvero obbrobriosamente patetico, falso, artificiale. Improvvisato, sì, da pseudo jolly della nuova politica dei...volti nuovi. Ben vengano, con attinenti competenze però, occhio. I vecchi volponi?

🏊‍♂️ Pool session today

At the academy, player development goes beyond basketball.
Our athletes have access to a swimming facility, supervised by a qualified coach.

Swimming is used for:
• cardiovascular conditioning
• active recovery
• coordination
• overall well-being of the players

Taking care of the body is part of taking care of the athlete.
Performance starts with health.
