🥚 The Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict was cooked perfectly. Slice into the poached egg and watch the golden yolk flow over the creamy hollandaise, smoked salmon, and generous spinach.

🦀 The Blue Swimmer Crab Linguine is a must-order. It’s loaded with sweet blue swimmer crab meat and juicy clams, with every bite packed full of fresh seafood flavour.

🫐 The Mixed Berry Smoothie is fresh, vibrant, and the perfect match for brunch.

☕ The Chai Latte is warm, smooth, and even better while relaxing in the café’s beautiful flower garden.

💛 The friendly staff made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Their warm hospitality made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

🍳 Brunch done right at August The Old Place! 🌸 @augusttheoldplace

If you’re a fan of perfectly cooked Eggs Benedict, this place deserves a spot on your list. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection with rich, golden yolks, creamy hollandaise, fresh spinach, and smoked salmon on a toasted English muffin. Every bite was packed with flavour.

We also tried the creamy pasta, which came in a generous portion and was rich, cheesy, and absolutely delicious. Paired with a smooth coffee and a refreshing berry smoothie, it made the perfect brunch.

The café itself is just as beautiful as the food. Set in a charming heritage building surrounded by colourful flowers, it’s a cosy spot for brunch, coffee dates, or catching up with friends. If you’re visiting this winter, don’t miss their seasonal homemade soup specials too! ❄️🍲

Minty gets a few shots of JIMNII before we wine & dine 🍷🚙

A little Jimny adventure, a beautiful vineyard, and then straight into wine and good food. 😎

If you’re heading towards the Mudgee region, Lowe Family Wine Co is a massive recommendation from us. Beautiful spot, great atmosphere, and definitely worth adding to your road-trip itinerary.

And yes… JIMNII had to get a few photos before we sat down 😂

I saw so many flying around yesterday and wondered what was going on. Bogong moths migrate every year, travelling long distances towards the Australian Alps.

Japan StrEat Party 🇯🇵 Sydney’s Japanese food festival

TODAY IS THE LAST DAY!

Spent some time exploring Japan StrEat Party and there was so much Japanese food to choose from. Street food, freshly cooked dishes, desserts, drinks and more.

I especially loved watching the food being cooked fresh right in front of you. The atmosphere was busy and fun, with so many different stalls to explore.

Weekend brunch in Glebe ☕️

Found this cosy little brunch spot on Glebe Point Road and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere here. The food came out looking so good, with plenty of brunch options to choose from.

It’s a nice spot for a weekend brunch, a casual catch-up with friends, or just coffee and something to eat while exploring Glebe.

If you’re around Glebe, Broadway or the Inner West and looking for somewhere new to try, save this one for your next brunch day.

Seafood heaven in Haymarket 🍣

Tried the Premium Uni Seafood Don at Kura Ichi and this bowl was seriously loaded! Fresh sashimi, salmon, scallop, negitoro, ikura, uni and a whole prawn over rice.

I loved having so many different types of seafood in one bowl, especially the tuna with ikura. Everything tasted fresh and the portion was generous too.

They also have fresh onigiri made daily at the front if you’re looking for something quick to grab.

🇹🇭 Thailand Grand Festival 2026 Sydney

Such a great weekend at Tumbalong Park, Darling Harbour, filled with Thai food, culture, entertainment and so much energy.

One of the highlights was the Live Cooking Demonstration with Chef Anan Cook & Tahnee Cook. Loved seeing Thai flavours being prepared live!

Real atmosphere, real sounds and lots of delicious Thai food 🇹🇭

Some of my favourite moments I captured at Thai Grand Festival 2026 🇹🇭🇦🇺

A beautiful celebration of Thai culture in Sydney, from the traditional Thai fashion show to artists and special guests from Thailand, beauty queens and models in Australia, and the team from the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Sydney.

I really enjoyed capturing the beautiful outfits, runway moments and people who made this event so special.
