Found a little croissant spot in Sydney with some seriously tempting pastries. Stopped by ON’ BAKED Croissant in Ultimo and ended up trying a mix of sweet and savoury pastries.

We ordered the pepperoni croissant, fruit tart, classic croissant, pistachio croissant and apple turnover, along with an iced matcha and mixed berry smoothie.

The pistachio croissant really caught my attention! Golden, flaky layers with creamy pistachio filling inside. I also loved the variety, especially having both sweet and savoury options to choose from.

🥩 Good quality ingredients always make me excited to get back into the kitchen.

A big thank you to Australian Meat Emporium in Alexandria for gifting me this beautiful selection of quality meat. I really appreciate it and can’t wait to turn these into some new homemade dishes.

Australian Meat Emporium is a family run business, and I love the huge variety of cuts they have. The Wagyu is always a favourite of mine. That beautiful marbling gets me every time.

Feeling very spoiled with this haul and already thinking about what I should cook first. More homemade food coming soon.

With Sydney winter here, you can’t go past their Pork Hot Pot. Served bubbling hot with pork, fresh vegetables and comforting broth. Perfect for warming up on a cold day.

🥣 Dragon Fruit Overnight Oats 🍌

A quick and healthy breakfast that’s creamy, naturally sweet, and packed with goodness.

Ingredients
• 1 banana
• 3 tbsp rolled oats
• 2 tbsp chia seeds
• 2 tbsp Greek yoghurt
• 250 ml oat milk
• Fresh dragon fruit

Simply mix everything except the dragon fruit, refrigerate overnight, then top with fresh dragon fruit before serving.

🍳 Brunch done right at August The Old Place! 🌸 @augusttheoldplace

If you’re a fan of perfectly cooked Eggs Benedict, this place deserves a spot on your list. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection with rich, golden yolks, creamy hollandaise, fresh spinach, and smoked salmon on a toasted English muffin. Every bite was packed with flavour.

We also tried the creamy pasta, which came in a generous portion and was rich, cheesy, and absolutely delicious. Paired with a smooth coffee and a refreshing berry smoothie, it made the perfect brunch.

The café itself is just as beautiful as the food. Set in a charming heritage building surrounded by colourful flowers, it’s a cosy spot for brunch, coffee dates, or catching up with friends. If you’re visiting this winter, don’t miss their seasonal homemade soup specials too! ❄️🍲

🇹🇭 A Thai feast worth coming back for!

I had such a delicious meal at Abb Air Thai Kitchen. The Tom Yum Seafood Hot Pot was packed with fresh seafood and bold Thai flavors, the Pad Thai Prawns was perfectly balanced with juicy prawns, and the Braised Pork Knuckle was incredibly tender and full of flavor. We finished the meal with a refreshing Coconut Drink and a Singha Beer, the perfect pairing for this Thai feast.
