Rooted in hip hop culture since 1997, with early foundations in graffiti, DJing, breakdancing, and emceeing, his journey into sound evolved after discovering Jungle through a Syrous mixtape featuring DJ Hype and MC Fearless. He began his MC career alongside DJs Celcius, Slacks, Gundam, and Playbwoy, eventually hosting CJSR’s Pulse FM for nearly a decade with Dale Force, showcasing local drum and bass talent. Over the years, he’s shared stages with heavyweights like DJ Ink, Ray Keith, Sniper, Illfingas, Marcus Visionary, Roc Raida, QBert, and Mix Master Mike. Since the start of COVID, he’s expanded into DJing on Twitch, continuing to evolve his sound—bringing it full circle with genres of house, liquid, downtempo, reggae, DnB and Jungle. FLUID. Volume 2 We’ve been saying it for a while now… the scene needs more liquid. Not just a little — more soul, more atmosphere, more moments that actually hit you instead of just hitting hard. This night is about bringing that feeling back. The kind of drum & bass that makes you close your eyes, lose track of time, and feel something real. No egos. No filler. Just pure liquid energy from start to finish. If you’ve been craving something deeper from your nights out… this is it. A veteran of the drum & bass scene, Ryful brings decades of dancefloor experience to the decks, blending deep grooves, rolling basslines, soulful vocals, and lush liquid textures into a set built for movement. A longtime DJ, dancer, and jungle head, Ryful has taken his sound from Alberta to dancefloors around the world, with performances in Mexico, Estonia, Sardinia, and Shambhala Festival, including the legendary Village stage. He has also played Sard Bass in Sardinia twice, connecting with crowds far beyond his Canadian home base. Known for his energetic and versatile approach to drum & bass, Ryful normally moves freely between jungle, DnB, UKG, grime, and other bass-heavy sounds. For this one, though, he’s switching gears and diving deep into the liquid side of DnB. Expect rolling drums, warm bass, beautiful melodies, soulful vocals, and enough groove to keep the whole room floating. Ryful. Liquid pressure. Smooth frequencies. Heavy feelings. FLUID.
