It’s finally pub day! Thank you so much to everyone buying copies of this book! It’s a dream come true to have been named guest editor, and to publish with the awesome folks at Triumph such a wide range of amazing writers and stories. In here you will see the best in our business write about stories that help us understand the world better. It was a pleasure to both edit, and to write the opening essay: a passionate defense of sports writing in an age where some do not feel this work matters. They are so wrong. Ibrahim, 20, is blazing a trail as the only Palestinian-American born in the West Bank competing on a men’s college basketball roster at any level.
