this was the year of getting into new genres and I can honestly say that non-fiction (specifically memoirs) have a special place in my heart. I couldn’t pick a single favorite because they were all so meaningful and gave me valuable insight into the lives of people many of us admire. humanity depends on empathy and one way to further strengthen that empathy is by learning about others. these books have taught me so much. 💙 • Born a Crime by @trevornoah • Giannis written by @mirinfader • Know My Name by @chanel_miller • I’m Glad My Mom Died by @jennettemccurdy • Solito by @jzsalvipoet
