Happy to share this print edition that will be on view in Baton Rouge/LSU during @midamericaprint next week as part of the Print Technology: Hybridization & Humanity portfolio exchange. Thanks to Brett Taylor and Brandie Dziegiel for accepting me!

Fig. A: Eddy of
Electro-etching and screenprint, 11x14 in, edition of 23

Other than the two print techniques used, part of the hybridity of the image is literally drawn from my tile making process photos. Excited about the convergence of these two processes and possibilities that it holds.

Thanks for all the enthusiasm for these new glazed tiles! I’ve been experiencing a lot of satisfaction (rare) creating these pixelated mythological figures, specifically sirens and gorgons as well as some thematic accoutrement 🐚🌀

The first crop is sold out (!!) but I’ll be cooking up a new batch soon.

Spent my birthday week over the garden wall in upstate NY learning about electro etching at @wsworkshop with guidance from the amazing @malgorzata_oakes and the best cohort of classmates I could hope for! I’m excited to work etching back into my personal studio with this technique 🗡️💙

Philly friends and beyond! I will have a handful of new and older ceramic screenprinted tile pieces on view in this group print show @jamesolivergallery opening at the end of the month. I’m incredibly thrilled to be included in this showing with Philly printmakers I admire so so much! Please save the date (and! I’ll be in town for the opening) 🧡

More and more I love making these tiles and expanding my image making potential within the process.
