PB3 Tournament Day 1 (for me)
Though I bowled really well and consistent today as I was able to keep my ball in the tunnel and keep everything in front of me on this challenging 38’ pattern.
1st attempt: +77
2nd attempt: +91
I’m ina very good spot right now going into match play. Got a lot more bowling ahead of me tomorrow, let’s keep it going!
Balls used: 🟣🔨, Storm iq78 16lbs, roto grip wicked gremlin.

Throwing sloppy joes with the Wicked Gremlin today 👀. Bowled on the 41’ PBA Jr McEwan pattern for League today and shot 732 with a 191 game 1 (not with the wicked gremlin btw) then averaged 270.5 the last 2 games WITH the wicked gremlin 🫪 by @misaelg7123

Well… I don’t know where to start…
This past week, I’ve bowled my 6th Junior Gold Championship tournament and all I have to say is that I’ve had the best week of my entire life. I’m still trying to let everything sink in, but let’s start with qualifying and how I got to a tie for 9th place in the entire country.
Monday I started with an 818 series which put me in 89th place. Tuesday was a better day but a struggle in the last game. I had an 831 series moving me up to 56th. The third day is an entirely different story. I started with the front 7 and finished with a 258 game 1. The very first shot of my second game was a 7-10 split. I threw my reactive ball dead straight at the 10 pin, but then heard a clatter in the pinsetter and suddenly the 7 pin fell towards me, meaning that I converted the 7-10 split for the very first time in my career and finishing with a 192 game 2. Game 3 was a comeback. I missed the 10 pin in the 3rd frame leaving me to max out with a 258. I then threw 8 strike in a row to shoot 256. Game 4… Game 4… Game 4… I brought the entire crowd all the way to the end pair of the bowling alley. Cameras recording me, people dead silent watching me, it was nerve racking. I had the front 9, then 10, THEN 11… I got up to the approach, took a deep breath, and threw the ball. I thought I aced it, but then.. the 6 pin wrapped around the 10 pin making it wobble but still stand. My last game, was a 299 for the second 1000 series and first 299 of Junior gold for the year in u18 and bumping me up all the way to 6th place. Day 4 was a bit of a grind, I shot 891 and moved down to 10th for the first cut. Advancers was a little tricky, but I was still able to shoot 1034 for 5 games and be in 11th place for final advancers. When I bowled on the pattern for final advancers… it was rough. I shot 926 for that 5 game block but I made match play for the first time ever by 10 pins. I lost my first match 459-382 but I was able to fight strong and win my second match 448-427. I then lost my 3rd match 415-379 making me finish in a tie for 9th place! I’m very proud of myself for showing who I really was out there and meeting new friends along my journey! Converted the 7-10 split for the first time in game 2
Shot 299 my last game on the end pair…
+254 overall
A lot of bowling left still but overall I’m in a fantastic spot. by @misaelg7123

Junior Gold Practice session #4
This practice session felt like one of the most comfortable patterns I’ve ever bowled on. I threw so many different bowling balls which made it super hard for me to decide which ones to choose for my ball card. Other than that, all of my practice sessions have been completed so I will update yall about scoring. by @misaelg7123

This pattern felt like something I’ve bowled on in the past, I got comfortable really quick and(yes) I threw one of my 4 Reality’s, my Vengeance, and 1 of my 2 limited edition Ion pro solids. Got one more session later today and then competition tomorrow! by @misaelg7123

Junior Gold practice pattern #1
Felt really good on this pattern, I used 2 out of the 4 Realitys I brought with me. This pattern also felt like a short pattern for the first 10 minutes and then it felt more like a shmedium. So we’ll see how this goes! by @misaelg7123
