Still processing the most magical sunset with the one and only @alygoede 🌞🤍🌅🫂✨

Grateful for it all is an understatement compared to all the love and joy shared that day :) It was one of those moments where everything aligned (minus the heat :p)

Thank you @sandboxfestival and much love to everyone here and there.

Grateful for it all, always :) taken in Sandbox Festival by @misc_jess

@SceneNoise #NoiseSets: On this week’s Select, Egyptian DJ and selector Jess exclusively shares her set from the Juicy Bar stage at Poland’s Garbicz Festival 2026. Warm and hazy at first, the mix gradually loosens into something more euphoric and playful, moving through flashes of disco, Balearic, Italo and house with unexpected turns along the way. Rather than locking into a single groove, Jess keeps the energy shifting, weaving together tracks including Crazy P’s ‘Open for Service’, Vinyl Mode and Moayad’s ‘Etha Habbetik’, Subject Is We’s ‘Aw3’ad’ and Cheb Rizki’s ‘Had Lila F Bladi’.

Jess is one of the fast-rising names in Egypt’s electronic dance scene, traversing dancefloors across the MENA region and the globe. Her recent festival appearances include Germany’s Fusion Festival, Lebanon’s Aegis Festival and Egypt’s Sandbox.

@scenenoise: Egyptian DJ and selector Jess traded the peak season back home for a summer of festival stages, extended sets and eclipse-chasing across Europe.

As one of the country’s most sought-after selectors, Jess gave us a glimpse into her Euro summer 2026 through her camera roll, documenting a season that took her from the forests of Poland to Lisbon’s dancefloors and the skies of Spain.

Her mini tour began at Garbicz Festival, where she took over the Juicybar stage amid a Polish nature reserve. From there, she headed to Lisbon’s Tronic for a six-hour back-to-back set with Megatronic, before wrapping up the trip under an eclipse-lit Spanish sky. by @misc_jess

My relationship with music started pretty simply. It was and is something I did because I love it.

A hobby, a way to play, explore, express myself and switch off from everything else. I never really thought about where it would take me, or whether I was “starting” at the right time.

Looking back, I think that’s what made it so special. There was no pressure to make it anything. I was just following something that excited me, and somehow it grew into a much bigger part of my life.

I had the chance to talk about that, and about the strange timelines we create for ourselves, in my interview with @maielmokadem_ @thisisyungmea for their latest issue, The Summer of Second Starts.

One thing I really believe is that there is no right age to discover something new, change direction, or start again. Some things need time to find you, and some passions take a while to become something more.

So here’s to staying curious, following what excites you, and giving yourself permission to begin, whenever that might be :) 🤍

this trip served as a reminder that the best things happen when everything “planned” falls short and you leave it to chance :)

2/3 of the gigs i travelled for got cancelled which really affected me at first but then @megatronicuk & @ericainlx came through in the best way possible with a 6hrs b2b set @miradourodebaixo in the heart of lisbon surrounded by an intimate beautiful crowd. and then i embarked on an impromptu trip to spain and then portugal again to see the eclipse and ended up learning how to sail a boat with my friends⛵️🤍

beyond grateful for everything and for everyone who was part of this beautiful journey and can’t wait to be back dancing with you all🌞 taken in Lisboa, Portugal by @misc_jess
