#SceneNowEvents: Halloween is less than two weeks away, and Lazuli has a few spooky surprises up its sleeve for the occasion, including a 14-hour marathon. And yes, music is very much a big part of the event. Fronting that side of things is French selector and Stay at Home Records head honcho Adrien Calvet, who will headline the Halloween edition of Lazuli’s ‘DAFUNK’ party on October 30th.

The day kicks off at the Haunted Garden, where guests can enjoy games, activities, and an open bar, while DJs Jess, RJ, and Youssef El-Kady soundtrack the day. As the sun sets, the Cursed Warehouse enters the chat, with Calvet taking over the night alongside local favourites Messery, K-Laff, and Adam.

#GouNews: SANDBOX SELECTS TO MAKE ADE 2026 DEBUT AT GARAGE NOORD OCTOBER 22ND.

Egyptian festival Sandbox is taking its sound beyond the Red Sea this October, with Sandbox Selects set to make its debut at Amsterdam Dance Event 2026.

The inaugural edition is set to land at Amsterdam’s Garage Noord on October 22nd, bringing together a stacked line-up of local and international selectors for a night spanning house, techno and everything in between.

The bill sees Egypt’s Aly Goede alongside Andre Zimmer b2b Misty, Copenhagen-based DJ and producer Courtesy, Berlin-based selector Anthea, and Jess.

The event marks a new chapter for Sandbox, expanding the festival’s musical universe into one of Europe’s most important electronic music hubs during ADE week.

Sandbox Selects takes over Garage Noord on October 22nd, with tickets available via Sandbox Festival’s Instagram bio.

@SceneNoise #NoiseSets: On this week’s Select, Egyptian DJ and selector Jess exclusively shares her set from the Juicy Bar stage at Poland’s Garbicz Festival 2026. Warm and hazy at first, the mix gradually loosens into something more euphoric and playful, moving through flashes of disco, Balearic, Italo and house with unexpected turns along the way. Rather than locking into a single groove, Jess keeps the energy shifting, weaving together tracks including Crazy P’s ‘Open for Service’, Vinyl Mode and Moayad’s ‘Etha Habbetik’, Subject Is We’s ‘Aw3’ad’ and Cheb Rizki’s ‘Had Lila F Bladi’.

Jess is one of the fast-rising names in Egypt’s electronic dance scene, traversing dancefloors across the MENA region and the globe. Her recent festival appearances include Germany’s Fusion Festival, Lebanon’s Aegis Festival and Egypt’s Sandbox.
