Empowering communities to develop and grow K-12 youth mountain biking programs

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

That's a wrap on the 2026 MiSCA Race Series! We've had a blast riding with you this season and cheering you on. This community broke every MiSCA record again this year > more student members (1,274), more coaches (697), more racers (704 avg per race), and our biggest race yet (741 Merrell). Thank you to the entire staff for making it happen!

More to come, but wanted to share that individual and team race and series results are posted.

We were given beautiful weather for the weekend of racing at Heritage Park this past weekend! Race 5 of the 2026 MiSCA Race Series brought 692 racers to the @ket.bike | MiSCA Heritage Park Race. We did some trick-or-treating on Saturday followed by the awesome @adamssportsmed 2026 MiSCA Coaches Race. But the excitement was really out on the trails with challenging sections and the awesome singletrack that Heritage is known for! There were so many close finishes, our timing crew was busy reviewing the finish video to ensure accurate results.

Our top teams of the weekend included @lo_cyclingteam (HS Scholastic), @wmcoyotes (HS Composite), AGAIN @hv_mtb & @wmcoyotes (tied for Middle School), @raptors_rayc (Elementary).

Full race and series results are published for riders and teams at www.miscabike.org/results .

We're back at it this weekend with the @szottautogroup | MiSCA Bloomer Park Race. We'll celebrate our seniors, sportsmanship, and crown state champions!

No video recap this week. Instead we grabbed random photos from EJ Swanson, Jessica Opfer, Matt Schultz, James Uh, Leah Pence, and Jason Eicholtz. Thanks to all the great parent photographers out there - we're so lucky! Check out MiSCA Mom's group on Facebook for lots more photos.

They did it again! The Coaches came with amazing costumes and creativity for the @adamssportsmed 2026 MiSCA Coaches Race. This year's theme was 80s Movies. We had ET, Princess Bride, Beetlejuice, Christmas Vacation, Top Gun, Star Wars, RAD, Rocky, Tron, Karate Kid, Revenge of the Nerds, and so much more! This was our largest coach race ever with over 200 coaches registered! This year also came with a TWIST... a SLOWMOTION finish! Coaches were given a time bonus based on how slowly they could finish the race! This was a ton of fun > results will be posted online soon!

Fastest Female Coach 🚵‍♀️ Cara Daniel of @northoaklandyouthcycling
Fastest Male Coach 🚵‍♂️ Ryan DeCook of @raptors_rayc
Most ON THEME Team Costume 👯 @blackswampriders
Best Spectators 🥳 @northoaklandyouthcycling
Worst costume to ride a bike in 🤢 @lo_cyclingteam
Best Team Coach Participation 📈 tied @hv_mtb & @wmcoyotes
Most Unique Bike 🚲 @BlackSwampRiders

We’re getting the 2027 @misca_bike DEVO crew together, and applications are open!

If you’ve seen us around at races, here’s a little more of what goes on. There’s coaching, training, team camp, and racing. There are also tutus. We probably should’ve mentioned those sooner.

You’ll meet riders from across Michigan, spend time working on your riding, and have a coach helping you figure out how to get where you want to go. If you’re already thinking about what you want to try next season, come take a look.

Read through the program with your parents at www.miscabike.org/devo. You’ll find the details and application there.

Applications close November 9. Link in bio. taken in Michigan by @misca_bike

Awesome job to everyone who conquered today's Adventure Challenge at Pontiac Lake Recreation Area! We ended up running challenges with a 2-hour cutoff (optional paddle) and 4-hour cutoff with paddle!

... and thanks to Mark Ware for putting on some great events for MiSCA!

Finally a dry weekend of racing at Race 3 of the 2026 MiSCA Race Series at Addison Oaks County Park! 712 racers signed up to take on the @cycletherapist | MiSCA Addison Oaks Race and the course was in prime FAST condition. We started the weekend with the national anthem from Ruth Swanson where she shared a short memory of Fynn and reminded us to #SendIt in his honor! We moved the start from where we've had it the past couple of years as there were some trees planted since last year that made an already tight area too tight. It worked out pretty well and we're already thinking about how we can make it even better for next year! To everyone who came out and gave it their all - YOU ROCK! Whether you volunteered, left it all out on the course, ate so many snacks you burst, or completed the 10-minute challenge you made this MiSCA weekend amazing!

Our top teams of the weekend included Lake Orion Cycling Team (HS Scholastic), West Michigan Coyotes (HS Composite), Huron Valley United Racing & West Michigan Coyotes (tied for Middle School), West Michigan Coyotes (Elementary).

Full race and series results are published for riders and teams at www.miscabike.org/results .

We're back at it this weekend for Race 4: @borahteamwear | MiSCA Owasippe Race. It's hard to believe we've already reached the halfway point of the 2026 MiSCA Race Series.

Thanks to the team from @caffeinesoulproductions for being on-site to capture this great video recap! Also on YouTube https://youtu.be/Z9bW2fbe3tw
