You spend a whole day riding together at camp and somehow still have plenty to talk about over dinner. Then you’re at another race looking for those same faces, catching up, and giving someone a hard time about whatever happened on the last ride. We love seeing that happen with this team. Riders who might’ve only known each other from a start line get to spend some actual time together, try new races, and make a few questionable helmet accessory choices. And when you’re absolutely cooked coming into the finish, it helps to hear a familiar voice getting loud for you. We’re looking forward to another year with this crew, and we’d love to meet some new faces. Applications for 2027 close November 9. Learn more and apply at miscabike.org/devo. Link in bio.

🥈Last weekend wrapped up the last @misca_bike race series for 2026. Sam finished 2nd overall for Varsity. She has worked so hard this past year on and off the bike, also while playing field hockey. Thank you @kurtdroese for the coaching and support. @miscadevo and all the @aayouthmtbteam friends and family who have been there cheering both my kids on this season. Listening to the actual audio in all the videos and hearing all the support makes me emotional. We have such a great bike community & team. 💯💜 Next up Iceman!

Mario Kart…but our parents drove us here and somebody’s mom is yelling from the trees. 😂 Bloomer from above is ridiculous. Pick a rider and try to follow them all the way down without getting distracted by everyone going the other direction.

Ending this season at Bloomer felt surreal, as it was the first race Flynn ever did with MiSCA back in 2022. Flynn passing right before bike season felt like a message to keep going, doing the things we love, surrounded by people who can hold that space for us. I’ll never be able to explain how much this sport, team, and community mean to us. They’ve held us through every step, from Flynn’s diagnosis to his passing and beyond. SEND IT started with mountain biking, but became something that carried us through every day. What Flynn made it mean to our family is a legacy we’ll forever carry forward. Emerson had his ups and downs this season but grew so much, finishing 13th out of 35 at Bloomer and 10th out of 48 in the state! Landon wrapped up his first race season, finishing 14th out of 34 riders. Watching his confidence grow, especially after moving onto Flynn’s bike, has brought so many emotions. He’s been fully sending it ever since. Being able to continue doing what we love as a family, with Flynn forever part of it, means the world to us.

Back to back high school state champs, baby! 💙💛🏆 The Coyotes brought home another HS team series championship at Bloomer, with elementary and middle school both finishing second in the series. Pretty proud of this crew. 72 Coyotes raced this weekend. We had individual championships, two perfect seasons, a borrowed bike that got kissed at the finish, and enough sideline screaming to make the cowbells feel unnecessary. The season finale recap is up with every rider, a little love for our seniors, and plenty of questionable dad jokes. Grab a coffee. Link in bio.

There are moments in parenting when you wish you could take all the pride you feel in your heart for your child and somehow place it in theirs, so they could truly understand just how proud you are of them. ❤️ Watching Bentley be the only freshman on the Detroit Country Day mountain biking team this year has been one of those moments for Airica and me. We couldn’t be prouder of his commitment, his willingness to step outside his comfort zone, and the hard work and dedication he’s shown throughout the season. Earning his varsity letter is such a well-deserved accomplishment and a reflection of everything he’s put into this experience. Congratulations, Bentley! We hope you feel even a fraction of the pride we feel for you. Keep pushing yourself, keep believing in yourself, and never forget how proud we are of the person you’re becoming. ❤️

It’s a lot easier to go back for another try when you’ve got someone helping you figure out the line and a few friends waiting to see you get it. And when you finally do, there’s a good chance we’re going to be more excited than you. Sorry in advance if the cheering is embarrassing. 😂 That’s a big part of what we love about DEVO. We get to know you, ride with you, and see the things you’ve been working on start to click. You can ask questions, tell us what felt awful, or be pretty pleased with yourself when something goes well. We want to hear all of it. Applications for the 2027 team are open through November 9. Head to miscabike.org/devo to learn more and apply. Link in bio.

Race #6 of the 2026 MiSCA Race Series 🚵‍♂️ 🏆 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP | BLOOMER PARK | ROCHESTER HILLS, MI 🏆 What a beautiful day for a bike race! ☀️ After a 3-hour gymnastics practice we headed to Rochester Hills for the boys’ final MiSCA race of the season! Theo had the most points across all 6 races of the season to earn the State Champion title in 2nd Grade Boys! 👏🏽🏆 1 Lap (3.0 miles) 🥇 Theo finished 1st in 16:43.6 🏅 Harrison finished 6th in 20:45.7 Theo took a tumble into a ditch 😬 and had to climb back up and chase down a handful of boys who passed him. He left it all out there, and came out on top! 💪🏽🔥 Harrison had a great race too, pushing hard and having a blast the whole way! 🙌🏽😄 Harrison was celebrated with the Junior Mechanic Award! 🛠️🏅 At an earlier race this season, he stopped his own race to help a fellow racer put his chain back on. 🔧 No hesitation, no second thoughts, just pure instinct to help. When we asked him about it, he simply said, “I had to stop and help him because he had to finish the race!” 💛 We couldn’t be prouder of the kind of person he’s becoming. What a fun season! 🎉 The boys made so many buddies and memories along the way. This is such an amazing, supportive community! ❤️ So proud of all these kiddos! 👏🏽🚲 What a great season Thundercats! ☺️
