Another Summer Bucket List adventure ✔️🥒

Khai and I finally checked out the Pickle Factory because… pickles are a new love for him and obviously we had to. 😂 If you love pickles even half as much as we do, you’ll have way too much fun here. We sampled all the things, laughed way too much, and yes… we left with some of their house-made brine, kimchi, olives, and of course, pickles! ☺️🙌

I’d say it was kind of a big dill. 😏

School is officially out, so naturally the moms decided we deserved a little Summer break too! 😂☀️
I packed a few @waterbirdspirits canned cocktails for our girls getaway and they ended up being the perfect poolside/pregame drink. The Citrus Squeeze was our favorite (shocking absolutely no one from Florida 🍊😂).
What I love most is that they actually taste good. They’re light, refreshing, not overly sweet, and easy to sip when it’s 95 degrees outside and you’re trying to convince yourself that you’re relaxing. 😅☀️

10/10 would bring these on the next moms trip too… because apparently “Summer break” only applies to the kids unless we make our own. 🤷🏻‍♀️😉🍹 Thanks girlies for the memories and good vibes! Can’t wait for the next one! 😘

On Khai’s very last lunch day in his beloved elementary school cafeteria… he had one special request.

Not pizza. Not nuggets. Not candy.

He wanted a steak 🥩 lunch with a baguette🥖, dessert (macarons to be exact), and a fancy bottle of water. He asked if I could roll his silverware in a cloth napkin and even include little battery-operated tea light candles. 🕯️

He told me he wanted to “go out with a bang,” sit in that cafeteria one last time, and just take it all in. 😌
So of course I had to make sure this happened! 😅 (no pressure!)

Today one of his sweet teachers sent me these pictures, and I’ll treasure them forever. Because this kid… he feels life deeply. He notices moments. He has always made ordinary things magical.
And today, per request, he turned his last elementary school lunch into a five-star farewell, and I truly couldn’t love him more for it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🤣✌️

We will certainly miss our pink elementary school by the beach, but I see big things in his future. 🥹💗 by @mischellestorm

Last night’s much needed parents’ night out and we decided to try the new @bella_vista_italian in Jax Beach. The pasta was great, but honestly the company made it even better. ❤️

Lunch date done right at @malithai.streetfood

As someone with Thai roots, I don’t say this lightly—this felt like the real deal. Every dish hit, but a few standouts absolutely stole the show. 🔥

We started with Laab Peek Gai—crispy (and I mean crispy!) fried wings made with flavors of chili, lemongrass, and kaffir lime. SO good that I ordered an extra batch to bring home for my boys.

Then came Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) with rice noodles, onion, tomato, bell pepper, and basil—classic, comforting, and perfectly balanced. (Extra dried chilies for me, please!) 😉🌶️

My favorite by far: Krapao Moo Krob & Kai Dao. Crispy pork belly in a Thai basil sauce with bell pepper, onion, green beans, and Thai basil, topped with a fried egg. Unreal. 🤌🏼

And dessert? The most beautiful Coconut Milk Jelly—light, creamy, naturally sweet, and almost too pretty to eat. The kind of dessert you order when you’re too full for dessert but you need a little something light and sweet. 🌸

If you’re looking for authentic Thai flavors in Jacksonville, this one’s going on my repeat list. 😋
