Scored a Mason Miller @mason.j.miller autograph signing today. #Jackfishsocal was super stoked to meet the Padres ⚾️ legend and closing pitcher with the 🔥🔥🔥arm. Proceeds from hat sales went to the Helen Woodward Animal Center 🐶. The cute pup was named Swamis and will be up for adoption this weekend along with 4 of her brothers and sisters. Fun day inshore on a "citizen science" cruise aboard the Seastar studying the effectiveness of marine protected areas (MPA) with the California Collaborative Fisheries Research Program (CCFRP). Pretty quiet fishing until we got inside the MPA. Always a good time with great research and boat crews. Fun fishing with folks who just love to fish and for all the right reasons.
