We just finished the Crosstown Trail, and absolutely fell in love with Mission Blue 🦋💙

Everyone was SO friendly and SO kind! Their drinks were fantastic. We were raving about them the whole hike. We even filled another Muni’s Bussin’ Bingo spot! The high morale we had throughout the entire journey started off at Mission Blue. THANK YOU, MISSION BLUE! WE LOVE YOU!

Also, shoutout to Crosstown Trails founder Bob Siegel, thank you for the lovely note on Venmo, creating such an amazing trail, and for many more amazing things. (I am coming back for a sticker)

Local coffee and sci-fi!

Mission Blue cafe is promoting my novel along with a lot of local artists’ work everyday. They are located right next to the SF Crosstown Trail in Visitacion Valley and they make delicious coffee!

I grew up in San Francisco and went to Miraloma elementary and Aptos middle school. It’s been my dream to get my sci-fi story into local shops and bookstores and the amount of support from SF has been very encouraging.

All of the copies are signed and I just restocked the store today! There’s a couple hardcovers and some paperbacks. I’m happy to chat in the comments.

Visitacion Valley is such a beautiful community of families, elders, artists, advocates, doggies, trail walkers, business owners, storytellers, teachers, athletes, first responders, and kiddos!

This weekend the neighborhood is beaming with joy and opportunity for connection. The night market organized by @allmyusos and other community orgs on Friday night was incredible. @sisterslittlesister brightened our Saturday morning. And tomorrow I’m hosting a Dolly Parton inspired storytime for folks of all ages!

Join me in the plaza next to @missionbluesf at 10am for stories and songs about being yourself, sharing kindness, and building community.

I’ll be in thr plaza from 10am-Noon, collecting book donations to share with local organizations in The City’s southeast neighborhoods.

What better way to honor and remember the Queen, Dolly Parton than with a free community storytime?!

This one is for kids from 0-99 years old. Bring your joy and a book to share.

Storytime begins at 10am in the plaza next to @missionbluesf on Leland Ave in San Francisco.

We’ll read stories together, play music, and share love and joy together.

I’ll stay in the plaza til noon, collecting books to donate to local organizations. Dolly blessed so many children with the gift of books. Let’s carry on her legacy by sharing with families in our own community.

You bring the books and I’ll distribute them to folks in the southeast neighborhoods of San Francisco.
