Over 50 sport federations and organisations have signed on to zero tolerance for child trafficking.

On 4 and 5 October in Lausanne, alongside the SportAccord Forum and the AIMS General Assembly, they signed The Line We Don’t Cross Declaration. Each one commits to zero tolerance for child trafficking in, through and around sport.

Among them were World Boxing, World Squash, World Sport for All (FISpT), the International Camel Racing Federation, and the National Olympic Committees of Indonesia and Serbia. Stephan Fox, President of AIMS, and Raffaele Chiulli, President of ARISF, signed as well.

We expect more organisations to join the declaration as we continue the campaign to safeguard young athletes.

We are at the United Nations today. 🇨🇭

At 13:00 CEST, Mission89 presents the first large-scale evidence on trafficking around a mega-sporting event during a side event at the 63rd session of the Human Rights Council.

Researchers at the University of Michigan, the University of Toronto, Tecnológico de Monterrey and the University of Kentucky spent the 2026 World Cup studying trafficking risk across all three host countries. Today those findings will be shared...

🗣️: "Parents in particular are very vulnerable to traffickers and fake agents who try and convince them that this is a good way to support their child."

🗣️: "Sometimes it's not just that traffickers are asking for money to move the child, sometimes, they're offering it as a sweetener to make it happen; there's a lot of manipulation that goes on."
