You know what, I do want to express myself, okay. And I don't need 37 pieces of flair to do it. by @missjulietee

When we first moved to New York (I was working on a movie for @blueskystudios before the big D shut it down🐭), we lived in White Plains and started hanging out at the oldest pub in town. Been there since prohibition times.. no, probably before cos it was def a bar first and then a speakeasy.. anyway, eventually it shut down. RIP Tighe’s Tavern 🍻

But there was this store next door that changed out their window mannequins so often that i would find random body parts askew or naked plastic bodies in awkward positions every other night… i fell in love. I have documented this thoroughly over the course of about 14 months.. eventually that store closed down also.

I would love to do a show of this series.. I’ll make a point to post them sporadically.

This was like 2018-2019

.hopesfall. - January 2000 Myrtle Beach, SC

I have thousands of hopesfall pics. Not an exaggeration. This show was a 2/3 day tour i got to go on with them. Long story short, i was visiting Charlotte and my plans to stay with another friend fell through. @purgeb4ubinge ‘s mom said i could stay at their house since his brother was off at college, but the guys were going out of town so apparently i had to tag along! They deemed me “breach of contract” cos girls were not allowed on the road with them. We drove down the east coast for a weekend in @sirbrigham’s moms old van they called “Nick Cage”. This was when @gassaholic and @ryanedwardparrish were still in the band, and probably @pat_hopesfall’s first tour.

This one was with @zaoband at Slacker77. @normajeanband fka “Luti-Kriss” was our side bitch 😝

20 years ago film, developed this week with sweet times captured on 35mm. Found this roll and wasn’t sure anything would turn out.. we have some light leaks, some love, babies and bands and hangs in hotels. Thank you @reformedfilmlab @ilfordphoto for the memories 🖤🤍🎞️ 📷

My friend @bt_cruiser ‘s first tattoo.

What an impact you, this band has had on me and so many others. Bridged the little gap between punk and hardcore for me and my friends when we needed it the most. Thank you, Lou 🖤

Hopesfall ~ Cornerstone 2000

This show was almost exactly 26 years ago, but feels like it was just yesterday seeing these maniacs crush the Underground stage. We had a pretty good group of friends here to support, and it was incredible seeing the kids in the crowd get into it. Thought now was a good time to post since there is video footage of this show circulating right now. I shot all of these at a pretty long exposure, and by the time the atmosphere drenched my lens and things started to get to the point where bodies were being thrown to the ground, the later pics got a little messy. I’ll save some of those for a part 2 post down the road
