My husband is running the @londonmarathon next April for @teampspa.

My dad died in 2021 after battling PSP for five years. Every penny donated to this amazing charity funds vital research and support for families whose lives are touched by this terrifying illness.

The page has only been up a few hours and he's already almost 10% funded!!

Liking/sharing/donating much appreciated.

One of the first stories I ever wrote! Think I was probably four?? You can see my mum started to correct my spellings and just gave up 🤣 what I love about it, aside from the surrealism and old school folk feel, is that I was writing in my mum’s strong west Kerry accent, which I had too before I went to school. So girl, was golle (it comes from the throat!), railings were ralens, but was bot, get was gat. No excuse for aplsa though. Transcription with boring standardised spelling ‘Once upon a time a girl named Kerry was going to the shop with her mum, and they got a basket and got; 5 oranges, 6 apples, 4 bananas, 2 packs of biscuits and a pack of crisps for Kerry. So they went home, but when they got to the gap in the railings they saw a pig ‘give me these bananas or I’ll roll your hair’ said the pig! I bet you could get these if I threw one of them. 🐷🐷🐷 by @misskerryfitz

It's meeeeeee! So excited to finally share this one :D Can't wait to start next week, literally across the road from where I trained as an actor. Back to the Swiss baby!

@hampstead_theatre - Meet the eight new writers joining Hampstead Theatre’s flagship new-writing programme, INSPIRE, this autumn.

A very warm welcome to: Shona Bukola Babayemi, Anjeli Chapman, Fergus Church, Hannah Doran, Kerry Fitzgerald, Logan Jones, Rianna Simons and Corey Weekes.

INSPIRE will offer each writer the space to develop a new play with dramaturgical support and mentorship from the award-winning playwright Simon Stephens and Hampstead Theatre’s artistic associates. The writers will also take part in a series of masterclasses with leading playwrights before the programme culminates in a sharing of their play in Hampstead Theatre’s Downstairs studio. taken in Hampstead Theatre by @misskerryfitz

I am so grateful to have gone to a screening of The Lost Children of Tuam this week. It's taken me a few days to process.

It's an incredibly powerful film, telling the story of Catherine Corless and her tragic discoveries about the mother and baby home in Tuam, Galway. A story of female abuse, power and resilience - fantastically written by @rlenkiewicz1968.

Being surrounded by brilliant women watching this and afterwards was galvanising - the mini All The Rage reunion was a balm to the soul and reminded me to keep shouting... shout louder. Burn the place down. 🔥

See the film. by @misskerryfitz

Late birthday celebrations🎉 Chilli festival and (watching) a chilli eating contest at Fulham Palace and then an absolutely bonkers family basketball game. Some people hadn't touched a basketball since 1990. I have heartburn. And regret nothing. 🌶 🥰 by @misskerryfitz
