Woweeewah, looking back on my two months in the Philippines and it feels like a 40 degree fever dream.

Manila was chaos. I lived 44 floors up with sweeping views across this crazy metropolis packed with 16 million people going about their daily lives.

I was lucky enough to be swept up by a few of those people ~ @stephenoliverso and the incredible @happypedalproject passionate (but mad! 🤪) bike commuters who lent me a bike and toured me across Manila (including down EDSA, one of the cities most congested highways!), the girls @danibuiii @naynaydru @kunswelooo of @ftcrew_girlssk8crew who taught me how to skate & brought sisterhood to this chapter, @_joyrodriguez who took me dancing, you are JOY 💃🏼 @timextrarice & @guerraclyde my sweet neighbours, veggie market tour guides & karaoke queeen 🎤 @patchagoniaaa my happy adventurer who helped me touch grass when I was going crazy surrounded by all the concrete! @romijnsaenz my fellow creative journo! Just to mention a few!

✨Special mention to the cute boy who joined me too for some island adventuring 🙂‍↔️

This trip was fuelled by mango smoothies, pocari sweat, pan de sal & spicy tamarind ice coffees 🌞 by @missmythen

🎐 INTRODUCING: Wonder edition 2.

We are back for round two baby… Wonder is an antidote to the endless bombardment of bad news of the 24/7 news cycle. We share stories of ordinary people doing cool stuff - not for fame, success or money, but because it makes them feel alive. It’s about community and inspiring everyday adventures.

This edition features incredible film photography, giving you a peek into the lives of others around the world. There’s epic tales of learning to skate, surf and snowboard & the communities that grew from just giving something a go. There’s thoughtful essays on creating new habits, the daunt of becoming a mum, & reclaiming one’s sense of self in the mountains. There’s art, and there’s homemade bikepacking adventures, showcasing how the most important thing is to just start 💌 There’s some classic Wonder profiles from the year - like Ernie the oldest man to hike the length of New Zealand at 82, Jonny who skateboarded down Taiwan, & Matheson beating a climbing world record 🧗🏼 DJ Sin describes the feeling of performing live for the first time. 82 pages of goodness 💛

DM me to pre-order your own copy now & start 2026 with a burst of inspiration to grab your adventure 🎏📚❤️‍🔥 by @missmythen

Louisa had a dream - go on a big hike and carry everything. Jemma was touring around Europe & decided to join pretty spontaneously. My month was free. To the Balkans we went! 🌄🏕️🌞

The adventure in a few stats:
Ten days*, three x 20kg packs, a couple of minor meltdowns, one vegan fox intruder to camp, 300km of walking, three countries crossed, several blisters, two packs of sour lollies, four kind strangers from Kosovo who gave us lifts, six logs of salami and two whole fish consumed, one storm survived, five cameras carried.

*don’t be deceived by the same outfit in all the photos, that was only to save on weight 😅 by @missmythen
