Here’s my full routine from SM 2026 in april!

It’s didn’t go as well as I had hoped, BUT I did it and I had fun doing it!

The first thing that happened was that i injured my shoulder in the first trick. (The handstand with a split. You can even see how i drop my split too early.). It made me a bit shaky for the rest of the routine. And already being exhausted from work and training didn’t help. But I kept going and didn’t feel much pain. (Thanks to the adrenaline 😅)

In the end I was so happy and relieved that I finished that I ran of stage, forgetting to thank the judges and audience. (Deducting a full point 🥲)

All in all: I’m proud of myself for doing it and I really love the routine that I created.

This is my first time competing in the Swedish Nationals in pole. I’ve wanted to do this for a long time and I even had a routine ready in 2020 when the competition got canceled. Now I’m finally doing it! 😳🤩 (This is my favorite trick in my routine called Reverse Butterfly Extension)  Thank you @arielpolestudio and @circustancia_art for all the support!

Preparing this routine has not been a smooth ride and I’m not as ready as I wish I was due to overworked muscles in my arms. I have only run through the full routine three times because I have needed a lot of rest between training and work.

Even so, I feel good and as ready as my circumstances have allowed me to be. My arms are still tired and a bit sore, but this setback made me realize there is no point in getting too nervous or anxious. I am going to focus on having fun and doing my best with what I have.

I felt like I needed to say that Im always so insecure when I post on social media. My thoughts always go: “Is it good enough?” “I know i can do that better, prettier, smoother, etc.” “What am I doing with my hands?” Then i think posting something is better than nothing. I know Im not alone in thinking like this. So here’s a not so perfect video of a low flow combo that I taught this week at @arielpolestudio. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to teach at your amazing studio 💕
