A lot of people ask me what kind of photography I do, if just nature, or something else?

The truth is, I work across very different worlds, but always with the same eye and the same way of seeing.

From people to brands, movement to moments… here are a few examples.

Got a project in mind? Or something new you’d love to create?

Agrigento Province. Definitely a must-stop area in Sicily!

From ancient temples and an amazing, authentic historic city to incredible wild landscapes, there’s so much to explore here.

I decided to spend a little longer in this area to rest and enjoy my bike trip at a slower pace, and it was definitely the right decision. Staying at @oribedagrigento and having an old friend @manuelcassetti around to show me some special places on guided tours makes this stop even more special. 🤍

Now there’s a storm hitting this part of the island, so let’s see how things go today… 🌧️🚲

The last two days have been a rollercoaster!

It all started with some serious neck pain two days and finding an osteopath to help me out. What I didn’t expect was for that visit to turn into a beautiful new friendship with someone I have so much in common with!

I ended up staying in Marsala with this lovely new family so a special package could arrive… except it never did. 🙃

Unlike the day before, today everything seemed to go wrong. After spending the entire morning trying to get that package, I gave up. The bike also needed some maintenance (the good part? Finding an amazing mechanic!). Half the day gone, still in Marsala, and no package.

I decided to keep heading south, but the amount of rubbish everywhere is heartbreaking. Places that could be absolute paradises are completely covered in trash. 💔

Then came an archaeological park I thought I could visit with my bike. Nope. Another plan that didn’t work out.

So I kept cycling towards the next campsite, dreaming of a nice shower and some rest… when I got attacked by SIX shepherd dogs. Fortunately, my @geosminabikepacking panniers took the bites! I guess they were tastier than me. 😅

But here I am, still alive, ready to get some sleep and hoping tomorrow will be a better day.

Because apparently, bikepacking in Sicily comes with a few unexpected side quests. 🥲🚲

First day of many! Palermo to Alcamo, done :)
After after a year planning this trip, I’m finally here!

I’m not going to make a huge description on this post because I’m dead and I wanna sleep ha ha ha ha but I promise I will create a map with all the spots I found on this trip, for now, you can always find me on Strava or Komoot and I will try to post a few photos a day.

But yeah, let’s go to sleep!
Hope you enjoy! by @missroofless

Walks after work and wild encounters.
The trick is simply to go out. 🌿

Amunì | An Odyssey for Bikepacking

Behind every adventure, there’s always a lot of logistics.

Last year, I decided I wanted to come back to Sicily once again, but this time I wanted to explore it at a more photography-friendly pace. And that’s where it all started.

The research, finding the right bike, bags, gear… an endless amount of logistics to make it all happen.

The first stage of the adventure was getting from Portugal to Sicily in an old Suzuki Samurai. And somehow, the bike also made it here safely with the transport company. 🙌😂

Luckily, I’ve had the support of @toutterrain @geosminabikepacking and @seatosummitiberia to make this solo adventure possible. Without them, it simply wouldn’t happen.

And, of course, there are all my friends who support me unconditionally, even when everyone else thinks I’m completely crazy. 😂

Here’s just a little glimpse of what the last few weeks have looked like… and what’s coming next.

Wish me luck! 🚲📸🇮🇹 and subscribe my Patreon for detailed maps with all my tips and spots, supporting at the same time future adventures 🤍🫶
