Hundreds of training hours logged, firewood chopped and stacked, matches ready for the burn, all for a race where it was ultimately my own choices that took me out before the race itself was cancelled midway through. We can prepare as much as we can but the mountains sometimes have other ideas. @taurusmountainrace was packed with superlatives. A stacked field dealt with record rainfall, volatile weather conditions, landslides, emergency mountain rescues, incapacitated control vehicles, and unrelenting peanut butter mud. Dealing with one of these is a tough challenge. Everything all together is a nearly unfathomable amount of risk. Adventures inherently involve unknown outcomes. We test our luck when we spend time in the alpine but returning home safely should always be the main objective for all race organizers. Understandably, it's still a tough call to make when so many people have committed so much just to line up at the start. Teşekkürler, @nelsontrees, for showing us a slice of Turkïye very few have seen. The mountains won't disappear anytime soon. We'll try again another day. Maybe just a little earlier in the season ;] by @toutterrain

But what do you need to know to find the best and brightest for your ride? Head to the link in our bio to learn more about these important components and how we integrate them into every step of our bike design process—and stay tuned for an important announcement along these same shining lines later in the week. by @toutterrain

Took home another plate for 3rd place at the @supperclubgravelseries Wild Hare! I had a ton of fun participating in 2 races in this gravel series, and I’m so proud to have made it onto the podium in both. Wisconsin Driftless gravel is beautiful … and challenging! The 12-14% climbs on this course were TOUGH. Thanks @toutterrain for the support and, as always, this incredible Ceres bike that is smooth as can be on every terrain, in every race. #gravelbike #gravelrace #bikesbikesbikes by @toutterrain
In her latest video, @belletoscan heads to Galicia for a coastal ride with a foreboding name and beautiful scenery. Aiming to stay as close to the water as possible, Belén plotted a route from lighthouse to lighthouse along the “Costa da Morte,” or “Coast of Death.” Head to the link in our bio to watch the full film, out now, and swipe through for some stunning images from her adventure. by @toutterrain
What makes the world a better place? Michael Evertz set off with his bicycle, hiking boots, and backpack to find answers. Supported by @toutterrain and @supernova__design he traveled across four continents, through 26 countries, covering 30,000 kilometers. He cycled to two UN Climate Change Conferences in Dubai and ventured into the Amazon rainforest. He crossed deserts, climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, and met Indigenous peoples, brilliant minds, and political decision-makers. Despite a life-threatening accident and several robberies, he never gave up. On November 19, at 6:30 PM, we invite you to join him at the Tout Terrain Experience Center in Gundelfingen for an inspiring journey. He’ll share his experiences and the answers he discovered to one of the most important questions of our time. RSVP now at the link in our bio. We look forward to seeing you there! by @toutterrain
