Hello friends,
Today at 3:17pm I helped my sweetest little old man Julian cross to the rainbow 🌈 bridge. 🤍🩵

I adopted Julian when he was 8 years old through a wonderful volunteer based Toronto rescue @savemerescue in 2017 not long after I had lost sweet Luna many of you remember.

Over the last couple of months Julian’s health had been on the decline and at his last vet appointment we discovered a large mass surrounding his one kidney. So I knew we were on borrowed time, but we were taking it day by day. Today Julian woke up very distressed and he had lost all his mobility in his legs, didn’t want to eat and was shaking and crying.
He was letting me know it was time.

Proudly, Julian reached the ripe old age of 17 years! 🐶🩵🐾
Although this is a very hard loss not so long after loosing Sully, I have to remember that Julian lived a good long life, that honestly, not all pets get to do. It’s hard to be upset at that notion.

I will miss his leg boops on my calves as I stood in the kitchen getting his food ready. That’s probably what I’ll miss the most, is feeling that little nose on my leg letting me know he was right there waiting for his food or a treat to drop on the floor. He had such a sweet face and a quirkily little personality we will definitely miss around here.

Please send Julian off with positive light and love as he continues through the next plane of his spiritual journey.
I know his sisters Olivia, Sadie & Zowie as well his brothers Hickory & Sully were there to greet him today. 🐾🌈✨

Dear friends, yesterday at 2:40pm Sully Beckers transitioned over into the next plane of existence peacefully in my arms. ✨🩵
I adopted Sully in June of 2016 from @letsadoptglobal a wonderful organization that helps to save and transport animals in need all over the world. Sully was originally from Bulgaria.
Sully was such a special boy from beginning and we had an instant connection right from the start. He was my boy, my main Man (as I used to call him all the time). 🩵

The most loving, intelligent, easy going cat I have ever had in my life. His disability never stopped him from adventuring around the house and the backyard (which was his favorite spot to be in, when the weather was nice).
No matter how many different pets I brought into the house over the last 8 1/2 yrs he tolerated them all and loved on them all in his own way.
I am extremely grateful and lucky to be chosen as his Mom. We had an amazing almost 9yrs together.

Over the last month Sully’s health was on the decline again and was confirmed that his cancer was back in his kidney. #fuckcancer

He is already missed greatly and our home doesn’t feel the same without him this morning.
My heart is broken 💔 once again, but this is life, a part of it which we never want to endure.

Rest easy now my sweet special boy.
Mommy loves you so so much.

I missed posting this yesterday on her birthday, but this woman right here deserves a post to know how very special she is to me!
How do I caption more than 16yrs of friendship and celebration in one reel?!!

Happy 58th Birthday to this rockstar of a Woman who I admire so much! She’s a Wife, Mom, sister, friend, competitor, a wearer of many hats, but to me she is my bestie, my sister, not by blood but by choice! My confidant, my workout partner, my shoulder when times are tough. We have shared so many adventures over the years and so many wonderful memories!

To my bestie Cindy in this 58th year of life, I wish you nothing but continued joy, love, laughter and all the happiness in the world! Here’s to you! 🥂🌟🌟🌟

Good morning friends, yesterday September 21st at 4:14pm, I said the hardest goodbye to my sweet girl Daphne. 🐱🤍💔

Daphne and I met back in 2010 on Thanksgiving night, when I found her on the side of the highway in Mississauga, I was working a nightshift. That’s where our journey began together. 🥰

Just shy of 16 years later we said our goodbyes. Daphne was the sweetest most loving cat. She loved on everyone that came over to the house, asking for head kisses and always wanting to sit on a lap and give cuddles. She was truly amazing.

She was such a ‘girly’ cat, always very delicate and sweet. She loved to drink out of the bathroom sink and wouldn’t accept no for an answer as the little diva she was lol. She also loved being outside in the backyard in the summertime when the weather was nice with her fur-siblings.

I will miss her immensely. I will miss her head butts asking for kisses, her cuddles and her sweet nature. She was such a beautiful girl.

This last year has been, needless to say hard, as I’ve had to say goodbye to Sully, Julian and now Daphne.

But, this is the journey of life and it comes with heartbreak sometimes. That just means that there was so much love, and that’s why it hurts so bad.

Daphne was just shy of turning 19yrs old. She was loved and cherished and has now joined her Kitty siblings Sadie, Zowie & Sully over the rainbow bridge 🌈
The fantastic 4 are all together again.

I had the absolute best weekend with my bonus sister celebrating her birthday however, Today is the Big Day💛 the day I get to say Ouisie is Nifty 50!🎉🎈🥳!!

Here’s to the last day of June!! 👏🏼

May & June have been filled with health challenges for me, so needless to say I’m glad to say goodbye to it and hello 👋🏼 to July!

From a severe chest/sinus infection that spread into my eyes 👀, 20 days on antibiotics and last week an additional health scare, to say I’m over it all is an understatement! 🤣🤣

However my weight loss journey, which I haven’t posted about really at all, has been a successful time prior to and in and amongst being sick. I’m currently down 21.3 pds 💪🏼…I told myself at the beginning of this year that I wanted to look “my best” for my 50th coming up in August and so far I feel like I’m on the path to achieve that goal! 💪🏼😃 So here I am 1/2 way through my progress!

Although I was sick, this is the best physically I’ve felt in years honestly. Not that I didn’t feel good before, but I knew if I got my shit together, so to say, I could feel way better.
As well, with the introduction of peptides into my regime at the beginning of this year, I feel like I’ve been healing my body from the inside out. It’s truly been a game changer for me. 👏🏼

The first while I was doing my own thing in terms of my diet and training and I lost 17pds, but I’ve recently enlisted the help of a coaching team to watch over my progress until my birthday (which is my goal date) and for me personally, if I’m accountable to someone else (besides me) I’m more likely to stay with the diet! 😅
So I’m excited to finish off this second half of the journey with @teamatlaslifestyle 🌟

Happy Father’s Day to our Wonderful Dad William (Bill) Beckers 💙
Although Dad now has advanced dementia, he still has a great love for us and his grand pups 🐶🐶 💙
He loves to see the dogs every time we visit😊 they always make him happy and lift his spirits!
He has his good days and bad days but today on Father’s Day is a good day, which makes us happy ❤️
He is also turning 88 on June 27th!

Fantastic and busy weekend in Toronto at the @toprosupershow ! From our Woman’s Seminar held on Thursday evening with our special guest speaker and Olympia Head Judge, Sandy Williamson, (which we received nothing but positive feedback about), to Judging the Amateurs and Pro Athletes all weekend! Our President Ron Haché also received a Lifetime Achievement Award from Jim Manion and the IFBB Pro League which was a very special moment 🥹. Caught up with some old and new friends and had a great time seeing everyone! Until next year Toronto!
