Another lasanga layering option because there are no rules when it comes to cooking!

My last one started quite the controversy but 3.1 mil views 💁🏻‍♀️

Here I’m layering using homemade sauce, NOT COOKED lasagna sheets, homemade béchamel sauce and some mozzarella cheese. Layer 3 times and pop in the oven for 10-15 mins

And yes, I put the sauce as the first layer to act as a barrier so the pasta doesn’t stick - you do you! 😉 by @missymai

Supporting local — especially delicious local restaurants, is one of my favourite things. ❤️

For my son’s family birthday celebration, we wanted to feature a delicious local gem in Almonte: Cafe Postino. 🇮🇹

🍪🔥 Giant S’mores Cookie for the win! 🔥🍪

My first babe turned 6 🥹❤️ and this giant s’mores cookie was the perfect birthday treat!

Here’s the recipe you’ve all been asking for! It’s not my recipe, but you can thank @cookwithgisellee for this one! 👏🏼✨

🍪 What you’ll need

Cookie dough:

• ½ cup melted unsalted butter
• ¼ cup granulated sugar
• ¾ cup light brown sugar
• 1 egg + 1 egg yolk
• 2 tsp vanilla extract

Mix the melted butter and sugars together. Add the egg, egg yolk and vanilla, and mix well.

Dry ingredients:

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• ¼ tsp salt

Mix the dry ingredients together, then add to the wet ingredients and combine.

Fold in:

• 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

And just like that, your cookie dough is ready! 🍪

🔥 Time to build the giant cookie

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper.

1. Add 1 layer of graham crackers to the bottom.
2. Add ½ of the cookie dough, spreading it over the graham crackers.
3. Add a layer of large marshmallows.
4. Add the remaining cookie dough in rounds, leaving some of the bottom layers peeking through.
5. Sprinkle with a little extra chocolate because… obviously. 🤎🍫
6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the cookie is fully cooked and golden.

Let it cool slightly, then dig in! 🤤🔥

SQUID DOGS!! 🌭

😏.. so easy! Pop mine in my @ninjakitchencanada air fryer on 390 for 10 mins and she’s done! Dip in ketchup & mustard and you’re all set. ENJOY! xx by @missymai

Making dinner with me — no trending audio, just good food.

Tonight we’re making the easiest, cheesiest chicken & broccoli rice casserole!

Ingredients:
• 3 cups cooked rice
• A whole rotisserie chicken (I freeze the bone and skin that’s left for soup)
• 2–3 cups broccoli
• 1 can cream of chicken soup
• ½–1 cup chicken broth
• 1½–2 cups shredded cheese
• Salt, pepper & garlic powder to taste

Let’s make it:

1. Mix the cream of chicken soup with ½ cup chicken broth until smooth.
2. Add the rice, chicken, broccoli & 1 cup of cheese. Season to taste and mix everything together.
3. Spread into a greased 9×13 baking dish.
4. Top with the remaining cheese — because there’s no such thing as too much cheese. 🧀😏
5. Cover with foil and bake at 375°F for 20 minutes.
6. Remove the foil and bake another 10–15 minutes, until hot, bubbly and gloriously cheesy. 🤤

Prep my nurse basket with me! 🧺💗

My first two babies were born during COVID, and at the time we weren’t really allowed to gift anything or bring extra things into the hospital. So this time around, I really wanted to spoil the nurses who day in and day out bring babies into this world and take such amazing care of us moms. 🥹💕

Here’s what I added, hoping to inspire anyone else who might be putting together a little nurse basket:

• Beef jerky sticks
• Red Bull energy drinks
• Face masks
• Yummy Larabars
• Mio electrolyte packets
• Pens
• Gum
• Hand cream
• Under-eye masks
• Chocolate
• Hair clips

I shopped at Amazon, the dollar store, Winners, and my local grocery store, and everything came in at under $75 total (not including the basket, which I’ll be taking home for baby girl 💕).

Thank you to my beautiful friend @raeof_light who’s a nurse and helped me with some ideas to add to this.

I also made sure to check all the expiry dates so everything will still be good past my due date!

🍂🎃 Pumpkin Cream Cheese Loaf 🎃🍂

Soft, warmly spiced pumpkin loaf layered with a sweet, creamy cheesecake filling — basically fall in every bite! 🤎

Pumpkin Loaf
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1½ tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
• ½ cup vegetable oil
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• ½ cup packed light brown sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 1 cup pumpkin pie filling
• ¼ cup water

Cream Cheese Filling
• 8 oz cream cheese, softened
• ½ cup granulated sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

How to make it:
Mix the wet ingredients, then add the dry ingredients and gently fold until just combined — don’t overmix!

Layer the pumpkin batter and cream cheese filling 3x, finishing with a layer of cream cheese on top. Bake at 350°F for 60–70 minutes, or until baked through.

Let it cool, slice, and enjoy!
