🩵cyanotype Hayley Williams devil horns button up shirt💙

one last project I made for the @yelyahwilliams show in auburn, wa this week! thrifted the white button up. made a large stencil for Hayley’s shadow and taped it to a bigger sheet of plastic. The shirt was treated with cyanotyping chemicals and left to dry for 48 hours before I left it on my porch in the sun to process.

I made the smaller image of hayey through a similar process but instead of using paper for the stencil, I created a negative of the photograph and printed it on screen printing stencil sheets.

I also used the ruffles from a (much too small for my body) thrifted button up that I picked off a $5 rack months ago. I knew I’d need ‘em for something special.

Thank you to all the people who talked to me about my shirt at the show! You all were so nice and cool.

⭐️prize ribbons for the @yelyahwilliams show⭐️

I pressed about sixty or so plain buttons to trade with other fans at the show! I gave away nearly all of them by the end of the night but left a handful in a random bathroom stall with the hopes people would come across them as they were leaving the venue.

As for the prize ribbons process: honestly, I just kind of went for it and made it up as I went along. This included trimming ribbon into equal sized pieces and a lot of hot glue. I did use cyanotype treated fabric sheets, sunshine, and lengths of lace to create the pattern on the blue bows and loops. taken in White River Amphitheatre by @mister.outrage
