I can’t tell you how many times over the last few weeks I’ve felt the urge to give into the void, the sadness, the feeling of being squished and squeezed by the “inevitable” despair of what we are being fed as the future. So, I got dressed and chose to fight with optimism and color and joy and humanity. The bravery I’ve found on the other side of a creative outfit may seem like a silly joke to some, but for some days it is the tonic I’ve needed to keep my spirit alive. Sorry for being so cryptic and emo lately, I’m just trying to keep my soul while billionaires convince us we’re doomed.

I love you, and I’ll try answer the comments about what I’m wearing cuz there’s too many things to list 😹

PSA for new followers. If this shirt bothers you, unfollow now.

Queer and trans kids are getting attacked in schools, in sports, in state legislatures…just for being who they are. They’re a fraction of the population and somehow the biggest target by obsessive people on the right. That’s not normal. That’s not okay.

It’s honestly weird behavior to care this much about what a child’s genitalia is or who they identify as. Focus on anything else that actually protects children, rampant ai use to create c s a m, taking away needed support systems, high cost of living or childcare access, g u n reform, to name a few.

There is nothing deviant or wrong about being queer. What’s actually wrong is letting these obsessed people hijack the entire conversation of child safety over something that isn’t even happening, while we ignore the fact that children are being abused by men (over 93% of all cases) in our own communities. That’s where the focus needs to be if we actually want to protect kids.

My goal is to protect kids. All of them. No matter who they love, how they identify, or what they’re going through.

I will not engage with hateful comments. I will block you instantaneously.

If you have a problem with that, go find a new style page.
