@newfest @nycpride & @nyc_molgbtqia united to amplify the award winning documentary @HumansofPridee for its second annual free public screening. This time in Washington Square Park. It was a perfect night for under the stars! ✨ Humans passing by stopped for the movie and became fast friends, while partners held hands. Tears of sadness and celebration were felt as we shared in the history of Pride.Iconic moments in LGBTQ+ activist history played out on screen in the same place where they happened over 50 years ago. This is the power of film, this is the importance of celebrating our story and remembering who we are and where we come from.Thank you for everyone involved that volunteered their time and energy to put this together. Thank you to our community leaders @taymer333 and @tabythagonzalez for your love and words and to @feminizazn for holding the fort down! 💜💐More free public screenings. More unity. Project Runway, here we go!⚡️🎥🪡 Excited to be producing the new season of Runway with the incredible team at @alfredstreetindustries for @freeform @disneyplus Searching through my phone for some Runway pics to post had me cracking up. It is absolutely a TON of work but it’s the moments when the designers dream comes true, and 300+ people are all working in sync to make it happen, that makes it all worth it. From powerful indie docs to high-glam runways, I’m thankful I get to move between both worlds and collaborate with such talented humans. Great reuniting with old friends and meeting tons of new ones! @thetaskforce #CreatingChange brings the ferocity, joy, and a uniting force all together in powerful conversation and space.
