Cheyenne is doing a Fundraiser for her cheer throughout the month of February. For 20$ you can put your name on the back of her shirt that she will wear throughout the year at competitions and she will be able to show off “ who’s got her back!” 100% of the proceeds go towards Cheyennes cheer! Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold.

Sometimes God has plans that are so different than ours….. I never would have believed that something like CrossFit would bring so many amazing gifts from God into my life!! I have met friends for a season, friends for a reason, people that taight me hard lessons and then some very special life long friends!! Life is really hard some days, be a good friend, love your people well and show up everyday. Pay the compliment, make someone smile, be kind, encourage others, we all struggle but never atop showing up for people and most importantly yourself. God’s plans are so much greater than ours, trust His plan, trust His process, learn, grow and love others well!! by @mistyjillco

Things change as you mature, going out with friend changes…

It looks like showing up, sitting on a gym floor and sharing coffee just so you can see your friend because life is lifing….

It looks like meeting for 45 minutes for coffee just to be able to see your best friends face in person…..

It means doing a workout with a friend in order to encourage them and make them push themselves because it is important to them to do well in the event…..

It means taking time out of our rushed lives, driving 3 hours one way 2 weekends in a row to help your people with their business because you can see they are completely overwhelmed and you make the time because you care….

It means going to a friends and cleaning with them just so you can hear their heart because you know it is hurting….

I means allowing friends grace and space to just come vent because they need to audibly process and you are great at listening….

It means inviting a friend to churchh so they aren’t alone, again…

It looks like allowing people in our lives to open our hearts to again even after being hurt by other repeatedly….

It mean babysitting for a friend who needs one to be able to go on a datee with their spouse because you can….

It means cuttinging wood at a friends because you know how and they need help….

Let’s all just change the narrative that we don’t have to get dressed up and “go out”, we don’t have to “host” perfect meals, we don’t have to be social media approved…..

Just show up, just be. The memories that matter are the ones where you were there to hold your crying friend becaue she lost her dad, when you can ecourage a loved one who is struggling, when you compliment a stranger who you had no idea hadn’t heard one in years….

Love like God calls us to love, love big, care, show up, be the person God calls you to be.

Life is hard, we all struggle, you don’t know everyones story, you don’t need to…. We all have things, love them wherr they are and ahow them the light of Jesus. by @mistyjillco
