A couple years back I took an amazing Ikebana flower arranging course at @longwoodgardens . I never had a chance to pull out the big camera for the designs I created in class but I did manage to save a couple flowers. This includes this gorgeous Chrysanthemum. Surprisingly, I never posted this before. Just in time for Fall. 🧡 by @mithriluna

'For I know the plans I have for you... plans to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11

Have you ever experienced the feeling of eagerly, yet patiently, waiting for something to happen, only for it to never happen in the end? All that waiting, all that anticipation, only to be met with disappointment. The kind of disappointment that leaves you not knowing what to do with yourself because the thing you had been dreaming about, hoping for, and looking forward to is suddenly no longer possible.

I know this feeling because right now, this is me and I have to say, all these emotions are dampening my spirits, my hope is wavering and it's a struggle to see a future without it. After several minutes of sitting in this uncomfortable moment of sadness and disappointment, I was drawn to open my Bible and there it was in the book of Jeremiah. 'For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11.

God knows my heart better than I know it myself. His plan for my life is filled with hope. I need to place my hope in Jesus and trust in His plan for me. He has never let me down in the past. He will never let me down now. taken in Longwood Gardens by @mithriluna
