Dear April 💌 (you were lovely) by @miyalani

Incentional; my baby that keeps me up all night and springs me out of bed every morning is turning 1 today 🥹

When I came up with the idea of incentional, I didn’t give it much time to simmer. I didn’t give myself time to think about doubt or limiting beliefs or all the things that could go wrong… and I’m glad I went into it with a little blindness and a lot of optimism.

Deciding to take the step to go for it was not just a step to become an entrepreneur, but it was a step into a never ending journey of self growth, challenging things from imposter syndrome to delayed gratification, and ultimately aligning myself with a version of myself that I’m proud to be. The whirlwind of Incentional has been so key in my healing and growth journey that I was not prepared for upon the first step. But boooooy am I glad I’m here now.

So many things I was merely dreaming of just 365 days ago have come to fruition. so many things I visualized for myself was blown out of the water. To think that just a year ago I was filled with unknowing and anxiety and to fast forward to now, a place of active daydreaming and creating and collaborating is so so special.

The best part… we are only getting started. Like fr. Releasing another ritual kit next week (one of my goals I wrote a year ago!!)

Thank you all for supporting me and my little incense paper business. It never goes unnoticed and it makes my heart swell. Thank you thank you thank you.

There are so many things to celebrate today and everyday! I will be reminiscing and celebrating here all week, so stay tuned for some goodies coming up 🧚🏻‍♀️🧚🏻‍♀️

EVERYONE BLOW OUT YOUR INCENTIONAL CANDLES! 😮‍💨❤️

This is the same girl who spent her days daydreaming.
Who pasted stickers and scraps of fabric onto paper, layering photographs from the past like they were distant memories. 🥹

The same girl who would sway in a hammock with a Junie B. Jones book in hand, completely unbothered by time.

The same girl who set up lemonade stands at every possible opportunity (w @georgia.olivia everytime we came to MA), who sold handmade bracelets from the porch of her childhood home like it was her storefront.

I am still in touch with that girl.
She is me.
And when I allow myself space to create, space to reflect, space to simply be. I am paying homage to HER.

This trend made me emotional. It made me nostalgic.
It’s giving me permission to soften.
To love.
She never left. I just had to remember her. 🌞✨🧚🏻‍♀️🧚🏻‍♀️ by @miyalani

(1/2) A photoshoot that deserves two posts.
@incentional_ is a business with so much soul. She’s a compilation of so many things; born from my mindful journey in breathwork & other healing modalities like journaling, meditating, and just having powerful conversations with people is where the flame for this really grew. But the spark… that’s from growing up in an entrepreneurial family with the star character being incense. (@theincensematch) My creativity didn’t translate like my mothers beautiful mural and mosaic works of art, but in ideas, in innovation, and in healing. Incentional, and owning a business, has taught me about being patient, loving the slow burn, and celebrating the smallest of wins. When I’m down about lacking sales or feeling like I’ll never disrupt this space, I remind myself that it’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when this product will make it into the hands of the right people. I’m just here for the ride (and all the handmade steps that come with that). ❤️🫶🏻

When I asked @photosbytraceyy to just take a few photos of me with my product at the end of our cat photoshoot, I wasn’t expecting to love these photos just as much as the photoshoot we were having at hand… Only using natural lighting, sitting on my living room floor just lighting up some incense. If you need someone with a good personality and a camera, call tracey yesterday. 🥹 by @miyalani
