The @charlieschampstournament division champs have been crowned but there are still TWO big chances to win and help @webuildhearts find a cure for Congenital Heart Disease for kids like Charlie ❤️

Tickets are still available for your chance to win either this stunning Randy Rhoads Jackson guitar or the 2nd edition Dunlop distortion+ RR Concorde effect pedal (not yet available for sale).

Guitar tickets are $10 each
Pedal tickets are $5 each

ALL funds go directly to the nonprofit 501(c)(3) Heartworks.

No limit for either on how many tickets purchased but winner is restricted to the continental US.

Raffle will close the night of Friday August 29th at 11:59 pm.

Winner selected via Instagram live with @dargmama and Charlie on Saturday August 30th at approx 6 pm pacific time.

Tournament day was INCREDIBLE!

We upped the game this year and it definitley payed off… far exceeding our expectarions - I don’t even have the words to say how grateful we are for such an amazing day, for ALL the volunteers, players, friends, family, vendors, and umpires love, help, and support we had leading up to and especially on this day. I could cry just thinking about it all, Matthew did!

It was so fun, so hot, so inspiring, so moving, so rewarding, and so exhausting but soooooo worth it!! This is but a snippet of highlights and I look forward to weeding through and sharing tons more, including tallying up totals raised for Congenital Heart Disease research @webuildhearts #charlieschamps taken in George Izay Park by @mjn88

Hi 👋🏻 my name is Alisa and I am the face behind this account… mama to Charlie, Sammy and Edee and wife to Matthew.

I am a born and raised Burbank local and really love our community.

I have been a NICU nurse at CHLA for over 20 years, most of which was before Charlie was born. I can clearly see my life as before diagnosis day and after diagnosis day and the huge impact it has made not only Matthew and my life but on any and everyone who is in our lives.
Once I had a sick child of my own I realized how incredibly important the work we do as health care workers is and what a huge impact we can make for the families and patients we care for.

I truly love helping others and believe that is the purpose for why we are here, to help others through their struggles.
And I genuinely believe that most people are GOOD and want to help too, which has been so evident in planning our tournament.

Shown here is this years @webuildhearts tournament bags which all players and volunteers will receive, we are soooo grateful for all the help and support and super excited for Saturday.

Why are we doing this?!
1- awareness 2- hope 3- change

One of the hardest things about Charlie’s disease is that there is NO CURE. No matter how many surgeries, procedures, interventions, tests, pokes, or meds he takes the most disheartening aspect of all is watching him endure it all but knowing that it’s never done and behind us. No matter what we do he still has half a heart. Everything he has been through is merely a way to help him survive as long and as well as possible.

30 + years ago the treatment for HLHS did not yet exist, it was a universally fatal diagnosis. But it took those willing to take a chance to make a difference for kids like Charlie. Had it never been for the risks taken all those years ago, Charlie wouldn’t be here today.

Even in the last 7 years since he was born there have been many advances in the care and treatment of this disease. @webuildhearts has helped bring many of those advances to light… and our hope is that in time the advances that are yet to come will eventually help Charlie and kids like him even more than we are able to do so today.

Join us as we strive to bring more awareness to Congenital Heart Disease and hope for a better future for our kids ❤️

We have some amazing items to raffle off this Saturday at our Charity Softball Tournament but these may take the cake!!

Today we received these incredible donations from the one and only @redturn2 and @court_with_a_k and their incredible foundation @jtfoundation10

A Justin Turner autographed Louisville slugger wooden bat,
A JT autographed Chicago Cubs hat,
and a JT autographed baseball.

These will be in our silent auction along with several other high ticket items; all funds directly donated to @webuildhearts, the leading organization in Congenital Heart Disease research working to find a cure for kids like our son Charlie, born with half a heart #hlhs #charliethechampion

This amazing group of wonderful people are the Charlie’s Rough Riders team 🧸

They are a collection of dear friends/our kids friends and classmates parents, a teacher and even our elementary school principal who put together this coed rec team last year and had an absolute blast!

The Rough Riders are returning for more fun this year and we can’t wait to cheer them on again!
