WE NEED EVERYONE !! Ms. Rose has spent her life giving to others. She has been a source of love, comfort, and strength to countless children, families, and friends—especially children in our middle schools and Alexander youth center who are facing some of life’s most difficult and high-stress circumstances, working alongside Karen Little to help them feel safe, supported, and never alone.

Now, the woman who has spent so much of her life lifting others up desperately needs us to lift her up. A rare and devastating infection has left Ms. Rose paralyzed, diagnosed on Wednesday and paralyzed within just 2 days and she is now beginning an incredibly difficult journey to Shepherd Center in Atlanta for specialized care and rehabilitation.

She has spent years showing up for others. Now is our chance to show up for her. ❤️

A year ago - David decided to go on a run - he made it around the cul de sac- after a year of dedication, pain and pure heart we PROUDLY watched him complete his goal- a half marathon ! Along side with Greyson, Fran, Skylar, Ryan, and Colin they ran their race and surpassed their goals - and of course they had the best cheerleaders - Katie and Sophie !! I am so proud of you David !!!! You did amazing by @mjroxylittle

What a weekend !! I am beyond a proud mom of Greyson and this group of people. Greyson, I watched, and cried, as you pushed yourself to surpass yet another goal. Your determination and training allowed you to push through the cramps pain and broken toe and complete your ultra race- amazing !! I am blessed to know all of these young men and women with such determination grit and talent - from running or being the best “pit crew” support around !! The way you support each other and lift each other to unthinkable goals is nothing but incredible to witness ! What a weekend, Kaitlyns boyfriend Fran, ran a 100 mile marathon - the Beast of the East at Crowders mountain. I witnessed complete strength, courage, determination and maybe even insanity 😊 watching him push through cold weather, pitch black night, climbing up and down boulders, and running mile after mile for 30 hours and 30 minutes. I also learned what amazing friends and family Kaitlyn and Fran have- it definitely takes a village. His mom Andrea. and Kaitlyn were ready !!!! With them leading all of us, Frans family and many friends, we were able to help Fran refuel, work on body cramps, dry clothes and anything that needed to be done. After mile 50, dedicated and maybe crazy friends took turns and ran beside him to pace and encourage him through the pitch dark freezing cold night as we the cheerleaders met them at every aide station to just cheer on what seemed like the impossible. With Kaitlyn running beside him at the end, Fran conquered the Beast!!!
