Momentus Backyard Ultra ✅
50 miles/12 hours/ DNF
Missed the time by a couple minutes

This was hard. From the first loop to the last, it was hard every time I got the opportunity to toe the line. A race like this shows you many things you can’t see unless you are out there pushing limits. Showing up every loop even when you don’t want to teaches you things not only about running but about the way you go through life. Many times I would just think to myself why am I doing this or why even try anymore, “just quit”. But the people around me who helped and were cheering me on is what kept me going. The community I have around me is something special and truly one of a kind. This is one that I will never forget. Try, learn, try again.

The Last Man Standing

I have so much gratitude towards my crew for making last weekend possible. I appreciate all the time and energy you put into this race and into me. It was huge knowing all I had to do was keep my feet moving and stay positive, and you’d handle the rest.

Even though I trained hard and did more recovery work than I have before for a race, there’s always a doubt. Did I do enough? Am I ready? Will my body hold up? Now I have the answer. But back to the drawing board for the next adventure.

Thank you to all the other runners out there on race day for pushing their perceived limits and inspiring me. This was one for the books, and I can’t wait to be back next year!

Hell of an event and everyone in our group did an amazing job pushing themselves to the limit!

Beast of the East 100 Mile Trail Ultra

30 hours 30 minutes

It really does take a village. I’m at a loss of words for the amazing humans in my life. After reflecting on the past few weeks, I’m left feeling incredibly lucky to have people in my corner who would pour their time and energy into my goals—without expecting anything in return. This race would not have been possible without them. From my pacers to those at every aid station preparing food and electrolytes, and cheering me on past what I thought was physically possible before this event—thank you. Staying up all night just to catch a few minutes with me every couple of hours, supporting me even when it felt like nothing was going my way.

I believe that struggle and facing fears are the best ways to discover who you really are and to strengthen relationships with those bold enough to stand by you when things get tough. Excited to see what challenges 2025 brings! #beastoftheeast
