Macaco (Portuguese for ‘Monkey’), a core part of Capoeira’s Ginga vocabulary. A floor-based escape/evasion technique. I’ve never seen it played in BJJ, but most jiujitsu players don’t study Capoeira. I’m years out of practice.. I go back to it after open-mat, and there it is. #flow #bjj #capoeira #movementculture #floreio taken in Corpus Christi, Texas by @mkc.tx

Happy 17th birthday Wyatt. I know you’re on IG and don’t want to talk. You deserve to know that it wasn’t my choice all these years to have no contact. I lived down the road from you for 3 and a half years, back and forth to court, fighting for the right to be your dad. It’s been a long 10 years, and everyday I think about the day I can see you again. Just give me a chance. Say to me what you need to say, and let me listen. I love you more than life itself. You’ll always be my son, no matter what. Have a great day by @mkc.tx

My dad believed that if your mind and will are not strong, you’ll spend your entire life getting carried away by your desires and weaknesses. You’ll spend your whole life paying for things you don’t want.
