When you can count on your two hands how many times your baby has taken a bottle in 6 months… Four hours max can separate us. But when I have these eyes staring back at me, I wouldn’t change it for the world. 😇

Beyond blessed to nourish this little one as I know breastfeeding isn’t always possible ♥️ Very grateful for this experience and wouldn’t change it for the world.

If you’d tried telling me a year ago I’d be here, I wouldn’t have believed you. I would have laughed or probably even cried at the thought.

A year ago
I could walk a maximum of 400m
I hadn’t been cleared to lift any weights
I could barely lunge to get up
My anxiety kept me up at night
I was questioning if I’d ever be the same again

But here I am

Back doing what I love with even more appreciation of what my body can do.

It’s endured a lot.
But I now know what it is truly capable of.

It is true, I will never be the same as I once was. But in a very good way.

Time, Patience and Consistency

If you ever have a goal that you think is out of reach, just remember those three things. And don’t forget, even if that thought may just be a dream right now, anything is possible.

1 year of trying - Unsuccessful
6 Rounds of IUI - Unsuccessful
1 Round of IVF - Unsuccessful
1 Natural Pregnancy Miscarriage - Unsuccessful
1 Natural Pregnancy - HALF WAY!!!

It has been one heck of a ride between the two of us over the last 5+ years with procedures, blood work, appointments, lifestyle changes and so much more behind the scenes. Beyond grateful to be 22 weeks with this little nugget growing inside. 😍

Hoping that this little one knows that these type of races and events are definitely in their future. ❤️ by @ml_dejong

My belly has been taking a little longer to return to regular size this time around. Reminding myself what it just accomplished 🙏🏻

Two feelings definitely exist for this process ♥️ I feel like it should be faster and I want it to be. But also giving myself grace for the pregnancy and early postpartum experience I went through while also fuelling to keep up that 🥛

Glad I am siding on the grace side but looking forward to recognizing myself in the mirror again 🫶 by @ml_dejong

14 Years of LP. ❤️
September 2012. 26 years old. Two young punks with a dream. 👦👧

It all started with 20–30 friends and family working out together in a park.

From day one, we’ve been incredibly fortunate to have an amazing support system around us — family and friends who have always believed in us and would do just about anything for us. 🙏

Then came a 21-Day Challenge, where we met our first “new members.” Some of those people are still part of LP today. 😍

Years 1–5 — Survival.
6am every morning to 9pm every night. Coaching. Training. Building. Learning. Loving every second of it.

Looking back, I have no idea how we did it. 😂

Years 6–10 — Growth & Reflection.
We thought we had survived the dreaded first five years, so surely the rest would be easy… right? 😂

A new gym. A huge investment. A lot of risk. And a lot of reflection about who we were, who we wanted to be, and what we wanted LP to become.

Years 10–14 — Building Something Bigger.
Building a team.
Growing a family.
Finding balance.
Creating an identity.
And continuing to figure it out along the way.

But more than anything, we’re proud of the incredible community that surrounds us, motivate us and inspire us every single day!

The people who have trusted us with their health. The people who have stuck with us through every chapter. The coaches and team who have helped make LP what it is today. And the family and friends who have supported this crazy dream from the very beginning.

We still have big goals and big dreams to chase, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what the future holds.

So here’s to the next 14 years.

The highs and lows.
The ups and downs.
The wins, the challenges, and everything in between.

Most importantly, here’s to continuing to show up every day, love what we do, build something we’re proud of, and build a great life with our little family. 🥰

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the LP journey.

Night out for the bump supporting three of our amazing members who put their body on the line supporting an incredible cause. ♥️

No matter the outcome of the fights, it’s the families of those in need who are the real winners. 1.5 million raised for MacKids - unbelievable 🫶
