I’ve watched Andruw make 1000 plays in centerfield live at Turner Field. I’ve seen the 1996 World Series Home Run live and then over and over again. I’m so glad to see him get into the hall of fame! by @mlbgameused

First, I know it’s not Baseball related, but when I was a kid I was obsessed with Hockey goalies. Patrick Roy and Miikka Kiprusoff were two of three legends I fell in love with… the third, Martin Brodeur. The New Jersey Devils great that led them to three Stanley Cups and also led Team Canada to two Olympic Gold Medals! In my opinion the greatest goaltender of all time. Incredibly honored for this to by my first piece of Hockey/NHL Game Used Memoribillia! This was his stick for the 2000-2001 season in which the Devils made it to the Stanley cup.

1957 World Series Catchers hallway decor. Yogi Berra and Del Crandall. One day I’ll get a yogi mask to match the Del one. The gloves are 50s era store models of both players gloves. by @mlbgameused

Hank, I first remember seeing the section of wall from #715 in the parking lot of the old Fulton County Stadium in 1997. I was in first grade and I was in LOVE with baseball. I began to learn all anyone could learn about Hank Arron and his 1970’s Curvy 715 hanging on that wall section and 44 on a ball in the Upper Deck of Turner Field. Not to mention the gigantic Turner Field scoreboard backer photo of that 715 ball. Learning this was the man that passed BABE RUTH in home runs and that he played for my @braves !!! I wrote a short essay about him that week in 1st grade, probably mostly made up super power type stuff, but Hank was my first historical Braves legend engraved into my mind. He quietly but powerfully worked his way from a young Deep South outfielder into a Hall of Fame, True Home Run King, World Series Champion, and amazing civil rights activist, all in a time in which that was extremely hard to achieve. The crowds always roared when Hank got driven around the warning track or when he would escape out the the dugout tunnel. I remember going back to watch the 1957 World Series and how so early in your career were already a power horse! I’ll never forget the two hand finish of that 715th swing, how easy it looked, how calm you were. I’ll take that with me from your life: even in the big moments, do the hard work before, to make it look easy. Hank, I never met you, but I loved you. I never saw you play, but champion you will remain. I don’t know how you lived such a great life, but I will do all I can to be as good a man as you. Thanks for being my first Braves baseball legend!

Do bobbleheads have to social distance or is this ok? Just a little re-arranging in the man cave! It’s quite the pile of fragility. #baseball #bobblehead #braves #atlantabraves #collection #collector by @mlbgameused
