Too many joys this weekend but here are some.

The start of FAHM with some fam- filled with flowers and all the citrus 🍋💐

Celebrating baby Gwenie! Watching my friends become parents is a blessing.

Resting at casa Velez, Tica agreeing it’s time to sleep as well.

This affirmation card.

Smiling, laughing, and just chatting with the friends that turned into fam. Also these buckets of persimmons.

Ladies with bouquets 💐 story time I didn’t go to LMU but am now weirdly friends with so many grads. +1 in my 30s and no regret on moving to California and becoming friends with all these folks.

Happy Birthday JAV! We love you.

Every once in awhile I am reminded of how cool the nature is in California and I love it. Loved being a passenger and singing 3 part harmony hymns as Justin drove us.

Titas lil lumpia! 💜

Haven’t been to Casa Vélez in 5 years and it was a blessing to just chat with Shan over coffee. by @mleeezlemon

“The point is get your work done, and your work is to change the world.” - James Baldwin 🌻

Fortunately for me I love when a city is in the beginning of autumn. Anyway Toronto thank you for your kindness, your clean streets, and for your phenomenal transport. Loved meeting some dope lawyers, law students, advocates, and organizers this weekend from all over. 🌆

Immigration continues to stay with me, even after I leave the day to day job. But their border crossings continue to inspire me and enrage me. A question I have is why did they have to leave at all? Shout out to all the immigration lawyers, advocates, and organizers doing the thing. We continue to advocate to abolish ice.

Thank you @gabrielaeaglerock for letting me read at your cultural night and thank you to the beautiful instrumentals in the background by @dacumos.jade + @tigeribarelyknowher27 ( some of the most talented musicians I know 🥹). by @mleeezlemon

🍒 I’m just a genuine but anxious girly trying to get thru the ber months. Hoping to throw ass on a dance floor soon, but most likely throwing those study cards. by @mleeezlemon
