Our Bethlehem Road project sits just off the shore of a large, beaver-dammed pond in the Western Catskills.⁠ ⁠ The site plan combines a modified Medium Bar and an ADU. All of the main house's spaces are oriented toward the pond view. For movie night, a projector screen can drop down in front of the glass facade in the evening. We designed the ADU as a writer's cabin, a kind of contemporary Thoreau retreat, lined with full-height bookshelves and oriented to feel secluded.⁠ ⁠ Construction is well underway, with access cut in, infrastructure in the works, and framing nearly complete. by @hutsnyc
