Build a Backbone is a reminder that growth happens when you stop creating for approval and start creating for yourself. It’s about standing up for yourself, trusting your vision, and recognizing your own worth—even when others don’t. taken in New York, New York by @mleereyess

DISTORTED - 00/01

Depression & Anxiety is an ongoing battle that occurs in majority of peoples lives. This piece is inspired by how our reality distorts whenever this feeling comes around. Parametric design helped me narrow down how I could perceive this feeling & create a physical (or 3D) piece to resemble distortion. Along with including curvature aspects to represent the waves of emotions that we feel with it.

However with the use of natural materials this piece rather than turning out to feel cold became the opposite and evokes a “zen” relaxed sensation to provide comfort inspired by darkness.
