Cyano is out today ~~*!! i am so excited to finally share this body of work in full. it was a brand new experience for me to make. for years and years i had music playing in my head with strange sounds, rhythms, and a familiar voice that was learning again to use words. it materialized into these songs during two cold winter months in 2025 where i was glued to my studio. Cyano is a very personal record because after 15 years of making music and “finding my voice”, i found myself realizing that the circle is always spinning. we will lose ourselves and find ourselves again and again, hopefully learning more each time. what an amazing feeling to be a beginner with hands holding the wisdom of the past. i love the part of emily who is a weird little alien. i love the part of this reality that will always remain unknown because that means there is always hope in the dark (read rebecca solnit!!). i love the capacity we all have to send and receive emotional transmissions. i love music and art and continuing to try try try. there are lots of thoughts and themes in this record. instead of trying to explain what they all mean to me, i hope you will drop in with an open mind and an open heart, peering into the reflecting pools of yourself, your kin, your planet. thank you for listening ♾️🌌🩵🔵 by @mlesprg

Hi ᯓ★ My new album “Cyano” will be released on October 2nd with @rvngintl. Listen/watch new single, “Sing To” out today ⊹ ࣪ ˖ ~ all my life there’s been a strange part of me. a part that doesn’t feel it belongs in our world, or maybe isn’t really here at all. music is my favorite language to connect those disconnected worlds. my relationship to it is liquid. a lifelong friend, a guardian angel. i thank music for finding me. to me cyano is a place that exists inside, and outside of us all. it’s a memory, dream, and awakening. it might be far away or nearby. doesn’t always fit with what we know. it may be how we grow closer, or how we fade. cyano is music that comes from someplace we can’t see. so much love and thanks to you all who listen and connect with these offerings of sound ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚ i’m excited to continue to speak about and reveal more from this project that is very dear to me. tracklist: 1. As a songwriter, vocalist and guitarist, @mlesprg can be found fronting the indie folk band Florist, whilst her solo albums explore different shades of synthesised and ambient music. Her latest release, Cyano, is the first time her songwriting and ambient music have shared a space. She has described the record as inhabiting an imaginary sci-fi world: one character in this world is based on the botanist Anna Atkins, who in the mid-1800s began producing photographic prints called cyanotypes – white-on-blue images, a very early form of printed photograph, and the origin of the term ‘blueprint’. “rising”, the final single from my new record Cyano is out today!! the whole process of making this record was a practice of beginning again. i spoke to my younger self who was obsessed with making music and would stop at nothing to seek the magic it brings and continue down the path of art life. 15 years later i am learning to feel those feelings all over again. it is amazing how much there is to explore in this life. always feel like i’m just scratching the surface, always coming back around to the start of the circle. Cyano comes out this friday with @rvngintl! it is a world in and of itself, and i am so excited for everyone to get to hear it in entirety. in the meantime enjoy this meditative jam. highly recommend zoning out to the visual made my @haddad_v while you listen. last month i had the honor of performing an ambient overture ahead of my dear friend jane’s (@janedoesnotknow) new film @welcometocampmiasma at the catskill, ny premiere @communitytheaterny. it was a night so full of joy, love and catharsis. jane’s voice is a critically important presence in media, hollywood, and pop culture. i am so proud to be a small part of their journey! 🩵🩵🩵 this was my first time ever performing right before a feature film — it was so much fun!! i hope to get to do more of this, and i encourage all you organizers out there to try it out sometime in your town. a fantastically wholesome and dynamic experience. the sleepy community theatre was fully alive this night. so much celebration and appreciation for art and kinship. background visuals by my 💘💝 @haddad_v first four slides are photos made by the amazing @matthewjohnson who documented this event 📷 …there is a hole at the bottom of the lake where the movies come from!!! 🌀🫂✨ by @mlesprg
