[Thursday 23.09] Curated Playlist: Squama Recordings

Squama is a music label and publisher based in Munich, releasing multi-layered musical and visual objects. Run by producer Martin Brugger and creative director Maximilian Schachtner, the label takes a DIY approach to both musical production and visual communication, with roughly half of its releases produced in its Munich studio, while all creative direction, visual content, and most artwork are created in-house.

For our curated playlist series, Martin and Max have compiled nearly four hours of music drawn from their label repertoire, alongside sounds that inspire and inform their work.

On this occasion, he has selected over four hours of music for us — a deep dive into his sonic universe and a showcase of his boundless musical taste.
