Thursday nights in Athens are becoming my favourite part of the week.
Started at Kennedy Vins, where everything from the music and interiors to the wine and smallest details on the table feels so thoughtfully curated.
A drink at Linou’s new bar, Melanthiou, followed by Under Bar, hidden beneath Hygge bakery.
Thursdays are the new Fridays in Athens.

Athens, you were gorgeous. Natural wines, endless food, beautiful streets, naked swims, late nights and playful cats. Already missing you. ❤️

Next stop — Μεταξουργείο;

A collection of moments from Athens. I could not quite pin it to myself how i have felt about this city. A place that feels like have had it all, from the start of democracy and ruins that faced those who built how we see culture today, to the modern streets and hip bars hiding in the tiny passages. A city on the crossroads which I wish had more love to it.

The most beautiful memories were made, and even more precious connections created.

@mm_____ls reintroduces a classic bar spirit, with thoughtfully crafted cocktails, considered design and music at its heart. A natural extension of @lsandsia , it offers a setting made for aperitifs, distinct flavours and spontaneous encounters.

Some of my favourite things to do in Athens are simply wandering, eating well and taking in the city.

Get lost in the leady streets of Kolonaki and Exarchia, two neighbourhoods with very different personalities. Exarchia has a more alternative spirit, with cafés, record stores, skate shops and vintage finds, while Kolonaki is its more polished sister, filled with boutiques, high-end fashion brands, concept stores and brunch spots.

For food, @manaritaverna was an absolute highlight. I would come back in a heartbeat for the lamb with orzo alone. For a glass of wine and a few bites, @wineisfine.athens is a favourite, with a stylish atmosphere and plenty of opportunities for Greek people-watching.

And if people-watching is what you’re after, head to @mm_____ls , right next to @lsandsia . This is where you come for beautifully crafted drinks, a stylish setting and, most importantly, to watch Athens’ effortlessly cool crowd go by. No beer here. Almost incognito.

For inspiration, I loved @10amapotheke, @moukimouathens @totimodesign and @phaon.athens . I would even take on the slightly less cool neighbourhood for @10amlofts . At least the metro is close.

For the best matcha in town, head to @misa.brew .

Still on my list for next time: @alekosfassianos museum, a film at @cine.oasis and a sundowner with Acropolis view on Lycabettus Hill.
